Position Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Staff Software Engineer to join our team. This is a high-impact, senior technical leadership role where you’ll help define the technical direction of our systems and mentor other engineers. You will be a key driver of architecture, design, and implementation, helping us build and scale robust, high-quality systems in a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment.

What You’ll Do
  • Contribute to the architecture and development of a world class agentic platform that powers intelligent, scalable, production grade AI agents.

  • Work with cross functional partners to define requirements and translate them into clear, maintainable technical solutions.

  • Lead or support high impact initiatives that expand the capabilities of our platform and accelerate our roadmap.

  • Mentor engineers, provide thoughtful feedback, and help elevate the overall quality of the team’s technical work.

  • Build well structured, testable, and resilient services that can operate at scale in production environments.

  • Adapt quickly to evolving priorities and contribute effectively in an environment that values iteration, ownership, and continuous improvement.

Who You are
  • You have 8 to 10 years of professional software engineering experience with a strong track record of delivering production quality systems.

  • You have experience building backend services in Typescript/Node as well as Java. Experience with Spring Boot is highly desirable.

  • You have experience setting technical direction for teams, making architecture decisions, and influencing engineering best practices.

  • You bring relevant telephony experience, such as SIP, Twilio, or similar communication platforms, or you have demonstrated the ability to rapidly learn and operate within this domain. This may include work on voice routing, call flow orchestration, messaging pipelines, or integrating telephony services into distributed systems.

  • You communicate clearly, collaborate well across functions, and can articulate technical tradeoffs in a way that supports strong decision making.

  • You are excited to work in a fast paced startup environment, embrace ambiguity, and enjoy driving clarity and momentum across complex initiatives.

  • Familiarity with areas such as LLMs, retrieval augmented generation, or agentic systems is a plus.
