Position Summary

As a Platform Engineer, you will be at the heart of The Flex’s technology stack, designing and improving the systems that power reservations, payments, guest communication, and property operations. You’ll focus on building scalable, reliable, and secure solutions that serve as the backbone of our global platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Platform Development: Build and maintain core services that support booking workflows, guest experiences, and property operations.

  • API Integrations: Connect with external booking platforms, payment processors, and communication tools.

  • Automation: Develop systems to streamline property management tasks, from check-ins to reporting.

  • Cloud Deployment: Ensure scalable, secure, and reliable deployments using serverless infrastructure.

  • System Reliability: Monitor and improve the performance and stability of platform services.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with product and operations to translate business needs into technical solutions.

  • Code Quality: Deliver clean, well-documented, and maintainable code through CI/CD practices.

What We’re Looking For
  • Proficiency in Node.js, React, and AWS Cloud.

  • Experience with serverless architecture and cloud deployment.

  • Strong knowledge of API design, integrations, and platform scalability.

  • Familiarity with FastAPI, Python, and scripting (a plus).

  • Experience building automation for operational systems (real estate, travel, or rentals preferred).

  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
