Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Management:
    • Assist the Placement Director in mentoring and developing the placement team.
    • Manage daily operations of the department, ensuring efficient workflows and processes.
  • Strategy & Planning:
    • Support the creation, oversight, and reporting on the metric-based Lamb Quoting System.
    • Analyze market trends and carrier capabilities to identify opportunities and risks.
    • Collaborate with the team director to set targets and objectives.
  • Carrier Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with insurance carriers.
    • Evaluate the performance of markets and provide feedback for improvement.
    • Proper utilization of Caffeine to organize and prioritize opportunities - new / renewal business
  • Process Oversight:
    • Ensure timely and successful placements by coordinating with the sales team.
    • Oversee the accuracy and timeliness of business submissions to carriers.
  • Insurance Expertise:
    • Deep understanding of insurance coverages and ability to articulate needs to carriers  

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience as a Property & Casualty Broker.
  • Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role.
