Manage personal lines client accounts, handle renewals and endorsements, market new and renewal business, educate clients on coverages, maintain agency records, and coordinate with underwriters, carriers, and internal teams.
Position Summary: The Personal Lines Insurance Senior Account Manager will be responsible for managing client’s current insurance coverages, marketing new and renewal business, and rounding out client accounts. In addition to client relationships, an Account Manager also maintains positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Essential Tasks:
- Assisting the Personal Lines Sales Producer in maintaining the client's insurance policies
- Acts with independent discretion and autonomy. Attends client meetings and influences decision-making on behalf of the insured.
- Represents the firm in a professional manner through appearance, communication style, and demeanor
- Preparing endorsements to send to the insurance carriers
- Assisting with cancellations of policies
- Educates clients about coverages and make recommendations as needed to meet client insurance needs
- Handles renewals and remarkets as needed. Develop proposals and may present to clients.
- Handles or refers insured’s questions or delegates to appropriate team member
- Actively refers clients to Benefits and Commercial Lines departments for solicitation of new business
- Maintains detailed customer records in the agency management systems (Applied EPIC and CSR 24)
- Maintains healthy working relationship with underwriters, carriers and other stakeholders
- On occasion, may work with Accounting Department to reconcile accounting discrepancies
- Keeps informed regarding industry information, new product information, coverages, and technology to continuously improve knowledge and stay current

Experience and Education:
- 5-8 years of Personal Line Insurance experience required
Licensing and Credentials:
- Active General Lines or Property & Casualty License required
- Designations strongly preferred (i.e. CIC, CPRIA)
Systems:
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Applied Epic experience preferred, but knowledge of similar Account Management System (AMS) is acceptable
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift 25 pounds
- Repeated use of sight to read documents and computer screens
- Repeated use of hearing and speech to communicate on telephone and in person
- Repetitive hand movements, such as keyboarding, writing, 10-key
- Walking, bending, sitting, reaching and stretching in all directions
