Summary: A fast-paced property and casualty insurance agency looking for an experienced personal lines account manager. As a personal lines account manager, you will work as the liaison between insurance companies and clients. Your duties and responsibilities involve responding to requests for information and documentation, handling renewals of expiring policies and processing claims. Position can be based out of one of 4 locations including Needham, Auburn, Westboro and Falmouth.

Duties:

  • Provide proactive, personalized support to assigned Personal Lines customers.
  • Manage customer renewal expirations.
  • Negotiate with carriers on behalf of customers.
  • Process policies, endorsements and some quoting for new lines of business.
  • Handle claim reporting and monitoring.
  • Respond to underwriters’ questions in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain a high degree of detail and accuracy in agency management systems.
  • Performs all other duties as required
Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of personal insurance experience (agency or carrier)
  • Current Insurance license preferred (can help obtain once employed)
  • Excellent relationship building, customer service and organizational skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to multi task
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Familiarity with Applied EPIC agency management system preferred
