Our Newest Opportunity: 

The Account Manager is responsible for day-to-day management of their assigned book of business. The AM works closely and collaboratively with the internal service team, Personal Lines Manager and 

Producers to ensure service deliverables meet and exceed client expectations. The AM serves as the clients’ main point of contact for any insurance-related service needs. 

 

Responsibilities include: 

Manages and maintains assigned book of business  

Perform marketing, quoting, binding, and tasks related to quoting renewals, new lines or additional lines 

Process change requests from client, verify accuracy, and send to client with clear explanation of change 

Maintain accurate records, documentation, and notes in agency management system (Epic) 

Serves in an advisory capacity for clients 

Delegates work assignments to internal service team members as needed 

Manages day-to-day client issues 

Conducts needs-analysis and strategy calls with clients and/or Producers  

Assists in growing the book of business through cross-sale opportunities when available 

Builds relationships with clients through proactive communication 

Communicates and educates clients on the latest trends, concerns, and changes in the industry 

Effectively and efficiently manages complex accounts and high-level service deliverables  

Provides leadership within the extended service team  

 

 

Qualifications, Skills and Requirements: 

Proficiency in Applied / Epic or ability to learn these programs 

Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat is a plus 

Must be self-motivated and disciplined 

Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills 

Possess strong organizational skills 

Ability to manage client needs and multiple tasks and thrive in a fast-paced environment 

Attention to accuracy and detail 

Willingness to participate in ongoing education and/or take necessary educational classes to maintain and improve upon skills and knowledge of industry specific topics 

May require lifting up to 25 pounds 

 

Experience:  

College Graduate 

2-3 years of insurance experience 

Basic knowledge of Property and Casualty insurance coverage. 

P&C License Preferred  

Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook Word, Excel and PowerPoint. 

Ability to navigate vendor or agency management systems as applicable 

The typical base pay range for this role nationwide is $65,000 to $70,000 per year.

Your base pay is dependent upon your skills, education, qualifications, professional experience, and location. In addition to base pay, some roles are eligible for variable compensation, commission, and/or annual bonus based on your individual performance and/or the company’s performance. We also offer eligible employees health, wellbeing, retirement, and other financial benefits, paid time off, overtime pay for non-exempt employees, and robust learning and development programs. You will receive reimbursement of job-related expenses per the company policy and may receive employee perks and discounts.
