Weiss Asset Management (WAM), a Boston-based investment firm, is seeking a Personal Assistant to support one of our Managing Directors. The ideal candidate is highly organized, reliable, and detail-oriented, with a strong interest in managing calendars, coordinating appointments, and handling a range of personal requests. This role requires sound judgment, discretion, and strong follow-through, as many tasks are time-sensitive and nuanced.
Responsibilities:
Manage personal scheduling and logistics, including medical and personal care appointments, coordinating with providers and handling follow-ups or rescheduling as needed.
Run personal errands and oversee essential tasks, including coordinating pickups, managing personal items, and handling time-sensitive or in-person responsibilities.
Support personal administration, including insurance communications, subscription management, and resolving billing or account issues.
Assist with broader life logistics, including apartment searches, financial organization, and maintaining key personal records.
Handle occasional tech and product-related support, including researching, ordering, or testing equipment and ensuring key items are stocked or backed up.
Manage daily lunch ordering and other ongoing requests to help ensure a smooth, well-organized day-to-day environment.
Provide limited support on professional tasks, including travel coordination, receipt tracking, and basic administrative workflows.
