Context:

We are a 25-person marketing agency providing growth services to small-to-enterprise clients. We've been operating since 2017. Every day is different (which keeps it interesting), and our main goal is to scale and grow our clients by any means necessary.

That means multiple channels running simultaneously, conversion funnels that need constant optimization, and performance data that requires expert interpretation to drive real growth.

As a Marketing Performance Strategist, your primary role is to analyze cross-channel performance, identify what's working (and what's not), and develop data-driven strategies that maximize conversions and ROI.

Concretely, this means:

(Strategic Onboarding) Conducting deep-dive audits of new clients' existing marketing efforts across all channels—understanding their funnel architecture, conversion bottlenecks, attribution setup, current creative/messaging approach, and historical performance data to establish optimization roadmaps.

(Multi-Channel Performance Analysis) Continuously monitoring and analyzing performance across PPC (Google Ads, Meta Ads, etc.), SEO, email marketing, and landing pages. Identifying trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement.

(Conversion Optimization) Developing and implementing testing strategies (A/B tests, multivariate tests) for landing pages, ad creative, email campaigns, and conversion funnels. Understanding what drives action and what creates friction.

(Strategic Recommendations) Translating data into actionable insights and presenting clear, strategic recommendations to internal teams and clients. Connecting the dots between different channels to optimize the entire customer journey.

(Cross-Channel Integration) Ensuring channels work together cohesively—that SEO content supports PPC landing pages, that email nurture sequences align with paid acquisition messaging, and that attribution is properly tracked across touchpoints.

(Performance Reporting) Creating comprehensive performance reports that tell the story of what's happening, why it's happening, and what should be done next. Going beyond vanity metrics to focus on what actually impacts revenue.

(Continuous Learning) Staying current on platform changes, algorithm updates, emerging best practices, and conversion optimization trends across all key marketing channels.

What you should be good at:

Required:

  • Extensive multi-channel experience: 3+ years of hands-on experience managing/optimizing campaigns across email marketing, PPC (Google Ads, Meta Ads), SEO, and landing pages

  • Conversion-focused mindset: Deep understanding of what drives conversions—from messaging and offer positioning to page layout, friction points, and psychological triggers

  • Strong analytical skills: Comfortable diving into Google Analytics, platform analytics, and attribution data to extract meaningful insights

  • Testing methodology: Proven experience designing, implementing, and analyzing A/B tests and conversion optimization experiments

  • Strategic thinking: Ability to see the big picture, connect different channels, and develop cohesive strategies rather than just tactical execution

  • Native-level English (written and verbal)

  • Native-level French (written and verbal)

  • Excellent communication skills: Ability to explain complex performance data and strategic recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences

Nice to have:

  • Experience with CRO tools (VWO, Optimizely, Google Optimize, etc.)

  • Familiarity with marketing automation platforms (HubSpot, ActiveCampaign, Klaviyo, etc.)

  • Understanding of attribution modeling and marketing mix

  • Experience with technical SEO and on-page optimization

  • Knowledge of creative testing frameworks

Work requirements:

  • Be ready to work within or overlap significantly with Eastern American time zone (EST)

Who we are:
  • Fully-remote 25-person agency

  • The agency: https://www.webtonic.io/en/

  • CEO's LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/cedric-pharand/

Perks:

  • Growth opportunities within the agency

  • Work with worldwide innovative brands across diverse industries

  • Autonomy to test, experiment, and implement your strategic recommendations

Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
