We are a dream team obsessed with the uncomfortable excitement of discovering what happens when you merge creativity, intuition and cutting-edge technology. Come be a part of what’s next.

The Product Merchandising organization delivers intuitive merchandising and local expertise to make it easy and enjoyable for our members to find and choose what to watch now, and next.

To improve how we accomplish this, we consistently investigate and evaluate our work.

The Performance Sr. Analyst role will be responsible for developing a learning agenda and tracking experimentation analyses for our new content categories (Live, Games, Podcasts, Sports, and more) for the Product Merchandising organization, with the goal of understanding title and catalog promotion, product and member behavior, and merchandising activations of these new experiences.

This role demands a deep understanding of consumer behavior, promotional funnels, and product performance.

  • Partnering with the NCX Merchandising team to plan and measure activations for our new content categories, both globally and locally.

  • Working with the other Performance teams to support efforts to standardize distribution performance reporting, helping identify cross-team best practices to enhance scalability and consistency in analytics. This includes collaborating with other Performance teams to evolve self-serve Merchandising dashboards/tools as a whole.

  • Serving as a subject matter expert and a primary point of contact for promotional data for our new content categories, supporting our NCX Product Merchandising teams.

Qualifications [including specific skills, years of experience, etc:

  • 5-7 years of experience in analytical and insight roles

  • Technical expertise in experimentation (AB tests), writing and reading queries (SQL) and metrics understanding

  • Demonstrated experience with storytelling skills, especially with data analysis (visual slides, memos, synthesizing quantitative and qualitative insights)

  • Strong communication and presentation skills

  • Must be a self-starter who can work independently

  • Genuine interest and curiosity in Netflix’s business, product, content, and the entertainment industry

  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
