Community Boost is seeking a Performance Marketing Manager who is equal parts client strategist, media buyer and technical executor in Google/Meta ads. In this role, you will be the primary strategic partner for a dedicated portfolio of small size nonprofit clients. This role reports to the Director of Client Services and is responsible for the holistic health of the client relationship—leading the conversation, designing the roadmap, and personally executing the media buying that brings that roadmap to life. This role is a REMOTE POSITION and can be anywhere in the US.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Consulting: Act as the lead advisor for a portfolio of nonprofit partners. Identify growth opportunities, troubleshoot organizational challenges, and align digital tactics with long-term fundraising goals.
  • Client Relationship Management: Lead all client-facing communications for 15 clients, including monthly strategy sessions and performance deep-dives.
  • Full-Stack Channel Execution: Own the hands-on execution and optimization across major platforms including Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads (Search, PMAX, Grant). Perform weekly account health checks to refine bidding, audiences, ad creative, and campaign structures to maximize ROAS and CPA targets.
  • Narrative Reporting: You know how to move beyond "vanity metrics." and be able to articulate the why behind performance trends to Marketing Directors and Nonprofit Boards.
  • Omnichannel Strategy & Attribution: Drive integrated strategies across multiple channels (Paid Search, Social, Programmatic). Utilize advanced attribution concepts (multi-touch, LTV, incrementality) to provide a holistic view using GA4 and Ninjacat to track how channels drive donor acquisition and long-term value.
  • Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO): Develop and implement a disciplined testing framework, including monthly hypotheses, recommended variants, implementation, and reporting on results to maximize on-page conversions.
  • Project Management: Maintaining project management using Asana and Basecamp, and ensuring all client deliverables are met on time without internal oversight.

Qualifications

  • Deep Channel Expertise (Required): Primary experience must be in Google Ads Grant and Meta Ads Manager, with a strong background in other paid media such as Programmatic (Display) and video (YouTube). You must be comfortable jumping between high-level cross-channel strategy and granular platform optimizations.
  • Agency Experience (Required): 3-5 years in a fast-paced agency environment, managing client relationships and significant media spend simultaneously.
  • Nonprofit Sector Knowledge: Experience working with nonprofits is highly preferred with an understanding of donor psychology, the "giving season," and nonprofit budget constraints.

Required Skills

  • Client Presentation Mastery: Proven track record of leading meetings and presenting complex strategies to senior-level stakeholders with confidence.
  • The Consultant Mindset: Proactive rather than reactive. You anticipate client needs and bring new ideas to the table before being asked.
  • Time Management: Consistently meets deadlines by organizing tasks, managing priorities, and avoiding last-minute scrambles. Demonstrates reliability in day-to-day execution.
  • Attention to Detail: Delivers polished, error-free work by catching inconsistencies and ensuring accuracy across all deliverables. Maintains high standards even under pressure.
  • Written Communication: Writes clearly and professionally, adapting tone and format to suit internal and client audiences. Avoids ambiguity and ensures messages are easy to understand.
  • Team Collaboration: Works well with others by sharing information, supporting teammates, and contributing to a positive team dynamic. Builds trust through dependability and openness.
  • Project Management: Plans and executes projects with clear timelines, milestones, and accountability. Keeps stakeholders informed and ensures deliverables are met.
