As a Data Analyst in the People and Operational Analytics team, you will. The Data Analyst is responsible for maintaining our data systems and reporting frameworks, guaranteeing the integrity and precision of data. The ideal candidate will transform raw data into structured information, which will then be analyzed to glean insights that drive strategic decision making in business. This position encompasses a comprehensive analysis lifecycle, covering requirement gathering, activity execution, and design planning. Data analysts are tasked with enhancing analytical and reporting functions, as well as supervising performance and quality assurance processes to pinpoint areas for enhancement.
ROLE:
- Data Quality and Integrity
Ensure that data is accurate, consistent, and reliable throughout its lifecycle, which is critical for making valid and trustworthy decisions
Cleanse data and scrutinize computer-generated reports and outputs to identify and rectify coding errors
- Collecting Data from Various Sources
Gather data from various sources, including databases, APIs, and third-party sources and ensure the upkeep of databases and data systems.
- Developing and Supporting Reporting Processes
Create and maintain processes to generate accurate and timely reports that help stakeholders understand and act on key data insights
Identify opportunities for process enhancements
Engage with managers from various departments to specify data requirements for analysis projects tailored to their unique business processes
- Developing Automated Processes for Data Scraping
Design scripts and tools to automatically extract large volumes of data from databases, improving efficiency and availability.
- Interpret Data
Detect, examine, and decode trends or patterns within intricate datasets
Employ statistical techniques to scrutinize data and produce actionable business insights
Your analyses will help extract meaningful insights and trends, which can then inform business decisions and strategies
Develop data dashboards, charts, and visual aids to support decision-making across departments
- Performs Complex Analyses
Conduct in-depth data analyses using advanced statistical methods and tools to uncover patterns, correlations, and insights
- Maintaining Databases
You will be entrusted with the responsibility of managing and updating databases to ensure they are secure, accessible, and functioning properly. Your role is crucial in supporting ongoing data storage and retrieval needs.
- Collaboration
Coordinate with management to align business and informational priorities
Collaborate with the management team to determine and rank the needs of different business units
Possess a solid foundation in statistics and practical experience with statistical software (such as Excel, Power BI, Tableau) and mastery in data analysis languages including SQL, Python, and R.
Exhibit exceptional analytical abilities to compile, structure, examine, and present substantial data sets with precision and thoroughness.
Capable of critically evaluating data to derive meaningful, actionable insights.
Demonstrate superior communication and presentation capabilities, adept at simplifying complex data insights for audiences without a technical background.
A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics, or a comparable discipline is required, with prior experience in data analysis or a related field being advantageous.

• Possess a solid foundation in statistics and practical experience with statistical software (such as Excel, Power BI, Tableau) and mastery in data analysis languages including SQL and Python.
• Exhibit exceptional analytical abilities to compile, structure, examine, and present substantial data sets with precision and thoroughness.
• Capable of critically evaluating data to derive meaningful, actionable insights.
• Demonstrate superior communication and presentation capabilities, adept at simplifying complex data insights for audiences without a technical background.
• Good troubleshooting and debugging skills.
• Proficient in standard software development, such as version control, testing, and deployment
• Demonstrated basic knowledge of statistical analytical techniques, coding, and data engineering
• Ability to Solve complex problems with multi-layered data sets
• Ability to innovate and determine new approaches & technologies to solve business problems and generate business insights & recommendations.
• Ability to multi-task and strong attention to detail
• Flexibility to work as a member of a matrix based diverse and geographically distributed project teams
• Good communication skills - both verbal and written – and strong relationship, collaboration skills, and organizational skills
The following skills will be considered an asset.
• People Analytic experience
• Possess knowledge/expertise in data modelling and management techniques and strategies
• Technical expertise in data architecture principles and design aspects of various database management systems and reporting concepts
• Experience with visualization/reporting technologies (e.g. PowerBI, Tableau)
• Experience with data modelling and test data
• Fluent in English and Portuguese. Spanish desire.
• Bachelor's Degree required.
