Circle is building the world’s leading all-in-one platform for online communities. We make it possible for creators, coaches, educators, and businesses to bring together their audience with engaging discussions, live streams, events, chat, courses, and payments — all in one place, all under their own brand.
We’re proud to be a fully remote company of around 200 (and growing!) team members from 30+ countries around the world. We seek exceptional individuals around the world, set them up to do the best work of their lives, and in turn, create a meaningful impact in their own lives. We don't track hours, but we do manage for high expectations very closely. We collaborate across time zones, are highly async, and like to document a lot.
Twice a year, we bring the whole company together in beautiful places around the world for our company offsites. So far, we’ve hosted offsites in Turkey, Portugal, Mexico, Thailand, Colombia, Italy, Ireland, and more, with still more to come!

Circle isn't trying to become a 1,000-person company. We're building something rarer — a team of around 350 highly skilled, highly motivated people who use leverage (including AI) to do work that most teams three times our size couldn't pull off.
But here's the thing: we're only able to do that because we genuinely invest in our people. Not as a talking point. As a practice.
That means the managers, systems, and culture have to actually work for the humans inside them — not just the business goals around them.
That's where you come in.
As a People Partner at Circle, you'll help us build and protect what makes this place work: managers who lead with both competence and care, programs that help people grow without adding bureaucracy, and a culture that stays strong because we're intentional about it — not just lucky.
You'll be embedded with leaders across the business, working as a true partner — part coach, part architect, part trusted advisor. You'll make our managers better. You'll build programs that are simple, effective, and human. And you'll help us stay the kind of company people actually want to work at, not just because the perks are good, but because they feel seen, supported, and set up to do their best work.
This is a full-time, remote role based in the Americas.
What you'll be doing- Coach and develop our managers, helping them show up for their teams through performance conversations, feedback, hard moments, and everything in between
- Support the building and running of our Learning & Development function — identifying real skill gaps and creating learning experiences that people genuinely find valuable
- Own and evolve our people programs alongside the Head of People: performance management, career frameworks, leveling conversations, manager training — making them smarter, simpler, and more human over time
- Stay close to team sentiment through surveys, 1:1s, and real listening — and actually close the loop when something needs to change
- Support team members in understanding their growth paths and what it takes to get there — so no one feels like they're guessing
- Spot and address people challenges early, with empathy and clear thinking — before they become bigger problems
- Partner with leadership on talent strategy: calibrations, succession, and taking care of the people we can't afford to lose — and the ones we just don't want to
- Strong alignment with our values: find our values on our career page
- Experience in a high-growth startup or scale-up where you weren't just running programs, you were building them
- Strong employee relations chops — you're calm in complex situations and you know how to navigate them with both fairness and genuine care
- A real coaching instinct — you've helped managers grow into better, more human versions of themselves, and you know how to earn that influence
- Experience in a global, remote-first environment with distributed teams
- The ability to design and execute — not just advise
- Exceptional written English (CEFR C2 or equivalent) — async-first communication is core to how we work at Circl
- You've built or meaningfully improved career frameworks and leveling systems
- You've designed L&D programs that people actually showed up for (and came back to)
- You've helped a company through a period of rapid growth without losing what made it good, or who made it good
- One more thing worth saying: we believe that high performance and genuine care for people aren't in tension. They reinforce each other. If you believe that too, and you want to build systems and relationships that prove it, this might be the right place for you.
The cash compensation range shown is a starting point. In addition to equity, benefits and perks, your cash compensation is subject to an annual review and increase on a once per year basis.

- Paid time away: all employees are given 35 days of PTO annually. We also offer a paid sabbatical after 5 years.
- Generous U.S. benchmarked compensation and startup equity no matter where you are in the world.*
- Awesome medical coverage with 100% coverage for you and your family, or medical reimbursement options where applicable!*
- Parental leave for parents expanding their family, or just starting one.
- Home office stipend to help you get up and running.
- Learning & development stipend to help you level up your professional skills.
- Annual bonus potential for roles that don't already receive variable income or commission.
- Company retreats: Twice a year, the Circle team gets together for a fully paid company retreat in incredible places around the world! We’ve had past retreats in Colombia, Portugal, and Mexico, with more planned on the horizon.
