We are looking for a detail-oriented but empathetic People Operations Coordinator to join our Operations team and take the reins on many of our day-to-day HR, benefits and payroll activities. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to get into the HR field - we’re happy to train someone who is excited to learn.

This role will be based in our Boston office, with an expectation of coming into the office five days a week.

What you’ll do (with ample training!):

  • Work with the recruiting team on new hire onboarding, including finding opportunities to automate workflows

  • Ensure new hires have the right equipment, access and swag on their first day

  • Manage benefit enrollment and execution of the annual open enrollment process

  • Run biweekly payroll

  • Own employee off-boarding

  • And as you get your feet under you, there will be opportunities to get exposure to other HR areas like immigration, compensation, and compliance.

Who you are:

  • 1+ years of experience in an operations-focused role

  • Proficient in Google Suite

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities

  • Strong attention to detail and an appreciation for precision when it matters

  • Politely persistent, especially with vendors

  • A creative problem solver with a knack for consistently asking: is there a better way to do this?

  • Empathy and patience

Compensation:

  • Base Salary: $60,000-$80,000 annually, depending on experience
