ABOUT THE JOB

The People Leader Enablement role strengthens the effectiveness of Marathon Health people leaders by translating leadership expectations, performance and engagement practices, and organizational priorities into practical tools, resources, experiences, and support leaders can use in their everyday work.

This role partners with people leaders across the organization, including Clinical Operations leaders, Directors, and senior leaders, to understand leadership needs, identify capability and performance gaps, and develop scalable enablement solutions that strengthen leader effectiveness, talent readiness, and the teammate experience. The role enables leaders across the leadership journey—from onboarding and transitions through performance, engagement, talent development, career conversations, and leading through change

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

People Leader Enablement & Effectiveness

  • Develop and evolve the people leader enablement approach, connecting leadership expectations, performance, engagement, talent practices, tools, and support across the leader journey.
  • Consult with people leaders, Clinical Operations leaders, Directors, and senior leaders to identify capability, performance, and enablement needs and recommend practical, scalable solutions.
  • Translate organizational priorities and People practices into clear expectations, tools, and guidance leaders can apply with their teams.
  • Use feedback, data, and business insights to identify recurring leader needs, friction points, and opportunities to strengthen leader effectiveness.

Performance, Engagement & Talent Enablement

  • Enable leaders to effectively apply performance and talent practices, including goals, coaching, feedback, performance conversations, recognition, development, career conversations, and talent readiness.
  • Develop practical tools and performance support that simplify People and talent practices and drive consistent leader application.
  • Partner across Performance & Engagement, People Partners, Organizational Development, and the business to advance performance, engagement, talent, leadership, and change priorities.
  • Use talent, performance, engagement, and adoption insights to identify capability gaps and target leader enablement where it is most needed.

Leader Enablement Experiences & Resources

  • Enable leaders to effectively apply performance and talent practices, including goals, coaching, feedback, performance conversations, recognition, development, career conversations, and talent readiness.
  • Develop practical tools and performance support that simplify People and talent practices and drive consistent leader application.
  • Partner across Performance & Engagement, People Partners, Organizational Development, and the business to advance performance, engagement, talent, leadership, and change priorities.
  • Use talent, performance, engagement, and adoption insights to identify capability gaps and target leader enablement where it is most needed.

Partnership, Adoption & Continuous Improvement

  • Build trusted partnerships across Organizational Development, People Experience, Clinical Operations, People Partners, and business leadership to create a consistent and connected leader experience.
  • Partner closely with the Director, Performance and Engagement to translate enterprise talent, performance, engagement, recognition, and leadership priorities into practical leader enablement.
  • Support enterprise change and adoption by translating new expectations, programs, and processes into clear leader actions and support.
  • Measure effectiveness and identify opportunities to improve, simplify, standardize, and scale leader enablement based on utilization, feedback, adoption, and business needs.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources, Learning & Development, Business, Communications, or related field and 5+ years of progressive experience in leadership enablement, performance management, employee engagement, organizational development, learning and development, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

DESIRED ATTRIBUTES

  • Demonstrated experience consulting with and enabling people leaders across multiple levels, including Directors, operational leaders, and senior leadership.
  • Strong knowledge of people leadership and talent practices, including coaching, feedback, performance management, engagement, recognition, career and development conversations, talent readiness, and leading through change.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and facilitating enterprise or cross-functional leader enablement solutions, tools, resources, and experiences.
  • Strong facilitation, consultation, communication, and stakeholder-management skills with the ability to influence without direct authority.
  • Strong project-management and analytical skills with experience using feedback, engagement, performance, or adoption data to identify needs and improve solutions.
  • Experience applying digital tools, generative AI, automation, or emerging technologies to improve leader support, access, and scalability; proficiency with Microsoft 365 required.
  • Trusted and credible partner who builds relationships with leaders at all levels and can appropriately challenge, advise, and influence.
  • Practical and leader-centered, translating talent, performance, engagement, and organizational priorities into actions leaders can use.
  • Strong facilitator and communicator who creates engaging experiences and adapts effectively across leadership audiences.
  • Systems thinker who connects leadership effectiveness with performance, engagement, talent readiness, recognition, development, and the teammate experience.
  • Curious and action-oriented, using data, AI, technology, and continuous improvement to strengthen how leaders are enabled.

Pay Range: $75,000 - $90,000/yr

The actual offer may vary dependent upon geographic location and the candidate’s years of experience and/or skill level.
