People Generalist

THE ROLE: People Generalist

We’re looking for an HR Generalist to join our team and help create an engaging, compliant, and supportive workplace. In this role, you’ll be the go-to partner for employees across the company to support the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, talent development, employee engagement, and performance management.

You’ll build trusting partnerships with both early career associates and managers across several business units and while most of your time will be spent in execution mode, you will have many opportunities to contribute to our People strategy!

The People Team has a “get it done” team attitude that enables each of us to tap into our entrepreneurial spirit to fuel our amazing growth.  We change every day, so you’ll need to successfully operate in the “gray” and be comfortable with a very fast pace. If you need to operate within tight restrictions and burdensome process, then this is not a role for you.

What You’ll Do…

Your core responsibility will be serving as the eyes and ears on the ground as the first point of contact for RGG associates. You will also participate in People departmental strategy sessions, bringing your creative and innovative ideas to the table surrounding People process optimization, retention, and employee programs. On a day-to-day, this translates to:

• Talent Management & Development:
  • Provide coaching and counseling on a variety of employee relations issues, performance improvement, as well as People practices & procedures and escalate issues and concerns as needed.
  • Partner with the People team to organize training on People related topics and processes.
• Employee Engagement:
  • Stay connected to the pulse of the org and help guide People leaders and business partners to align our programs with the needs of the team.
  • Drive a strong “local” corporate culture through various activities and events, as well as day-to-day support of Company values
  • Serve as a trusted resource for employees and managers, providing guidance on People policies, procedures, and workplace matters.

• • You have grown in an HR capacity over the past 3-5 years’ where you have built an understanding of applicable state and federal laws and regulations related to HR and general business practices, strong organization skills, and are eager to expand your HR knowledge base. College degree preferred, but not required.
  • You’re proficient in MS Office including Word, Excel (VLOOKUP/pivot tables), PowerPoint Outlook, as well as Google Drive.
  • You have strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to juggle multiple, sometimes conflicting priorities.
  • You’re a relationship builder, connecting easily with employees at all levels and wherever they sit.

Base Salary Range: $75,000 - $85,000

Our goal is to support, reward and compensate the entire individual. Depending on role eligibility, your offer may also include bonus/commission, stock options, 401(k) participation, paid time off, medical, dental, vision and basic life insurance. Therefore, final offer amounts may vary from the amount stated.
