WHO YOU ARE:

- Someone who has been designing PC boards the last few years and loves it!
- An individual with bachelor’s degree in a related STEM field or experience that’s commensurate.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.
Description
We are seeking someone with a passion for printed circuit board designs that can operate in high-speed design environments. They will receive mentorship from senior engineers to design complex boards that we then assemble and expose to destructive radiation. Sounds fun, right? We get paid to break stuff. They’ll collaborate with a team of software and firmware designers and test engineers to bench test their designs prior to radiation exposure. They’ll design complex boards to evaluate everything from FPGAs and processors to DDR SDRAM among many other devices and systems.
Desired Experience/Skills:
- KiCAD, Altium, or similar
- Mixed signal PCB design
- Board-level signal integrity simulation tools
- Familiarity with standard SPICE simulation suites
- High-speed differential layout and high-speed signaling and signal integrity
- Bench testing prototype hardware using oscilloscopes, DMMs, function generators, and power supplies
OUR BENEFITS: Fifth Gait offers an outstanding package of salary and benefits including company paid medical, dental, and vision coverage, annual bonuses, and a retirement plan including company matching and profit sharing.
SALARY RANGE: $105,000-$130,000. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
