Payroll Coordinator

What You'll Do
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on the Payroll Team to assist in creating a positive payroll experience for the company and our employees. You will also have the opportunity to work with other corporate functions including, but not limited to, Benefits, Compensation, Accounting, and HR Operations. As part of this job, you will:

• Assist the Payroll Team with the preparation of semi-monthly, multi-state payroll for 3000+ employees.
• Maintain payroll data in Workday. (Pay groups, work addresses, tax elections, earning and deduction codes, etc.)
• Be the primary contact for payroll questions or requests from employees by managing the payroll tickets in Zendesk.
• Oversee time management for hourly/non-exempt teams by tracking approvals and creating tools and resources to help employees and managers become more self-sufficient.
• Support the Payroll Team with Equity payroll processing.
• Administer and maintain state and local tax accounts in OSV.
• Assist with international payrolls.
• Assist with general operational tasks.
• Assist with ad hoc payroll-related People Ops projects as needed.

Who You Are
You're a kind, passionate, problem-solver who values the opportunity to think beyond the way things are. In addition, you're a detail-oriented collaborator with 1-2 years of relevant experience in Payroll, Accounting, or Human Resources.

• You have Microsoft Excel skills (i.e. vlookup, pivot tables, etc.) and the ability to efficiently learn new systems.
• You are comfortable working with complex data sets.
• You are familiar with the Google Suite.
• You have the ability to process a high volume of transactions accurately and efficiently.
• You have strong organizational skills and a high attention to detail.
• You have the ability to effectively communicate with a diverse employee base.
• You have familiarity working with an HRIS system
• You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• You have a desire to learn, develop an existing skill set, and take on more responsibility.

Extra credit

• You have experience with processing payroll out of Workday
• You have experience with processing tickets out of Zendesk
• Experience supporting a multi-state and/or multi-country organization

Job Compensation Range
Salary Range: $32.69 - $49.04
Preferred Primary Location: NY hub
The annual pay range reflected above for this position is based on the preferred primary location of the role which is listed in the job description. Salary ranges for other locations vary from the range reflected above. Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. An annual bonus and equity may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
