As a Product Director in Payment Rails, you will lead our efforts in developing and enhancing Payment products with a strong focus on risk management and regulatory compliance. In this role, you will have a global mandate and lead a team to collaborate with other product leaders and cross-functional partners to ensure our products meet the highest standards of performance and adherence.
Job responsibilities

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on product design to ensure all products adhere to internal and external standards and regulations, working closely with product teams, regions and controls partners.
  • Oversee, develop and execute a strategic roadmap for underlying capabilities, tools and features to support ongoing operating hygiene of Payments Rails products.
  • Oversee the continuous analysis and enhancement of existing payment products and services based on evolving risk and regulatory environment as well as underlying commercial use cases for various products.
  • Stay informed about policy and regulatory changes affecting payment products and act as a point of governance and oversight within Product organization to ensure proper design and requirements gathering as well as implementation to stay current with these changes.
  • Coaches and mentors the product team on best practices; manage and mentor a small direct and/ or matrix team of product managers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment. Provide guidance and support to ensure team members achieve their goals and contribute to the overall success of the product portfolio.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success. Provide regular reports to senior management on product performance, compliance status, and strategic initiatives.
  • Work closely with other product leaders and cross-functional partners, including engineering, operations, controls as well as independent risk functions, to drive product initiatives. Ensure effective communication and alignment across teams.
  • Monitors market trends, conducts competitive analysis, and identifies opportunities for product differentiation.


Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 8+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in Payments product management and/ or product delivery, with a focus on risk and governance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of payment systems, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience managing and developing a team of product managers.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Experience with delivering complex programs.
  • Extensive knowledge of the product development life cycle, technical design, and data analytics.
  • Proven ability to influence the adoption of key product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management.
  • Experience driving change within organizations and managing stakeholders across multiple functions.
