As a Carrier Partnerships Manager, you'll own relationships with some of the leading insurance carriers in the country and shape how they grow with Insurify. You'll set the strategy for each partner, structure the deals, and work closely with Product, Engineering, Data and Marketing to build experiences that help customers find the right coverage and help carriers reach the customers they want.

This is a role for someone who likes being at the intersection of business and product. You'll spend as much time thinking about how a customer moves through a quote flow as you do negotiating terms, and you'll see the results of your work in the numbers.

This is a hybrid position that requires candidates to be able to come into our Cambridge, MA office.

Build partner strategy
  • Own a portfolio of carrier and agency partners and develop a growth plan for each one, based on their goals, appetite and the customers they want to reach.
  • Find new ways to grow existing partnerships, including new states, new products, new distribution models and new advertising opportunities.
  • Track the insurtech and distribution market, identify gaps in our marketplace, and recommend which partners and products we should add next.
Structure and negotiate partnerships
  • Lead commercial conversations with carrier leadership, from new partner agreements to performance-based programs that reward growth on both sides.
  • Design deal structures that balance partner economics with Insurify's goals, and use data to make the case.
  • Run business reviews with senior stakeholders that go beyond reporting: what's working, what isn't, and what we'll do next together.
Build with Product and Engineering
  • Act as the voice of the partner inside Insurify. Turn carrier needs into clear product requirements and work with Product and Engineering to ship them.
  • Lead the commercial side of partner launches and integrations from contract to go-live, including API integrations, embedded purchase flows and new customer experiences.
  • Collaborate on experiments with partners and internal teams to improve conversion and the customer experience, then decide what to scale.
Use data to drive decisions
  • Monitor partner performance across the funnel, spot trends early, and take the lead on fixing what's off.
  • Work with Analytics and Data Engineering to keep partner data accurate and build reporting that partners and leadership rely on.
  • Turn analysis into clear recommendations that move partners and internal teams to act.
Work across the company
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, Analytics, Marketing, Agency Operations, Finance and Legal on everything from launches to billing to brand approvals.
  • Keep our licensed agents and internal teams up to date on partner changes so customers get accurate, timely information.
  • Help shape how the partnerships team works as Insurify grows.
Who you are
  • 3+ years of experience managing or growing B2B partnerships, ideally in P&C insurance, insurtech, fintech or a digital marketplace.
  • A strategic view of partnerships: you connect a partner's business goals to product and customer outcomes, and build plans that work for both sides.
  • Experience negotiating commercial agreements and building long-term relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills. You're comfortable in spreadsheets and BI tools, and SQL experience is a plus.
  • Experience working with product and engineering teams, and an interest in how digital products are built and improved.
  • The ability to manage several launches, negotiations and projects at once and keep each one moving.
  • Clear, persuasive writing and presentation skills.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Willingness to travel up to about 15% of the time.

Benefits

  • Competitive compensation
  • Generous stock options
  • Health, Dental Coverages
  • 401K plan with match
  • Unlimited PTO
  • Generous company holiday calendar
  • Learning & Development Stipends
  • Paid Family Leave
