Humboldt Merchant Services. Payment acceptance for retail and specialty markets. 

Who we are: 

Humboldt Merchant Services, a wholly owned subsidiary of North, provides payment acceptance to merchants in specialty markets, with a focus on retail and e-commerce transactions. In addition to providing safe and secure credit card processing to a wide variety of merchants, Humboldt also supports multi-currency conversion, specialized chargeback reporting, compatibility across multiple gateways, and more.

Job Summary:
The Sales Director role focuses on driving significant revenue growth by identifying, prospecting, and closing new business opportunities through strategic external partnerships This role takes full ownership of a highly consultative sales process to recruit and develop new partnerships to maximize company revenue and expand the external sales program.

What you'll do:

  • Proactively identifies and pursues new sales opportunities through various channels
  • Manages the entire sales life cycle from initial contact to final deal closure
  • Drives significant revenue growth by meeting or exceeding sales quota and performance metrics
  • Negotiates contracts and sets pricing while ensuring full disclosure of all rates and terms to successfully close deals
  • Conducts sales presentations and tailors product demonstrations as needed to clients
  • Accurately maintains and updates activity reporting within a CRM system
  • Maintain and build partnership relationships by addressing client needs and growth opportunities
  • Stays current on competitive industry landscape to maintain a strategic advantage
  • Works with internal departments to build, execute, and optimize overall performance and enhance revenue generation

What we need from you:

  • Minimum five (5) years experience in payments or fintech partnership development
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in utilizing CRM applications

  • Travel Requirements: 25-30%
