Purpose-built for healthcare and informed by years of experience managing AI at scale in other industries, Signal 1 empowers healthcare organizations to translate innovation into real clinical, operational, and financial outcomes.
Signal 1 is a 30-person, well-funded and rapidly growing startup with strong product market fit and deployments at a growing number of top-20 US health systems.
Job Overview
As a Partner Success Manager, you are accountable for proving and growing the value Signal 1’s AIMS delivers across an assigned portfolio of health system customers. You are the primary person connecting customer business priorities with Signal 1’s technical capabilities. You will define the KPIs that matter to each customer, measure them, and turn them into the value story executives and AI governance committees use to justify, renew, and expand their investment. You will also run quarterly business reviews, support renewals and expansion, and coordinate our delivery and engineering teams to keep implementations on track.
This is a senior individual-contributor role that blends value measurement, executive reporting, customer success, renewals and expansion, solution engineering, and delivery coordination. You will work closely with functional and technical leaders at our customers, and with engineering, product, delivery, and sales teams at Signal 1.
What you’ll be doing
- Acting as the business lead from Signal 1 for an assigned portfolio of health system customers.
- Owning value measurement for each account: defining KPIs with customer sponsors, establishing baselines, and reporting outcomes such as risk reduction, governance maturity, and time to approve new AI tools.
- Running quarterly business reviews and producing executive value reports for CIOs, Chief AI Officers, and AI governance committees.
- Leading discovery of business and technical requirements, and supporting sales, delivery, and engineering in scoping contracts and statements of work.
- Coordinating implementations with delivery and engineering to accelerate time-to-value and highlight early wins.
- Driving renewal readiness and identifying expansion opportunities, partnering with sales on account plans.
- Cultivating trusted relationships with C-suite executives and senior leaders as their day-to-day strategic partner.
- Bringing customer insights back to product, engineering, sales, and marketing.
- Building the playbooks that scale the Partner Success function with the Director of Partner Success, starting with value measurement, QBR, and renewal.
What we’re looking for
- 5+ years of experience in health technology, strategy/operations, or consulting; customer-facing experience at a SaaS or health tech company (customer success, account management, or client delivery) preferred.
- Executive experience: you’ve engaged senior audiences (e.g., CIOs, Chief AI Officers) and can turn complex results into a clear story, deck, or written deliverable.
- Proven ability to define, measure, and report value, including outcomes that aren’t purely financial, such as risk reduction, compliance, quality, or governance.
- Experience running steering committees and QBRs, and supporting renewals or expansion in a SaaS environment.
- Working fluency with AI-enabled products or analytics programs (predictive and/or generative), including model use cases, workflows, and responsible AI in production.
- Strong analytical, solutioning, and project leadership skills: you diagnose operational gaps, design improvements, and drive cross-functional delivery in healthcare settings.
- Excellent storytelling and communication skills, including client-ready decks, work plans, and Excel models for executive, technical, and non-technical audiences.
- You thrive in ambiguity: you find the opportunity in an unstructured situation, form a plan, and deliver with minimal direction.
- Willingness to travel to customers ~2x/month.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
Bonus points for
- Background in healthcare, AI, digital transformation.
- Experience serving on or supporting a health system AI governance committee.
- Healthcare strategy consulting experience.
- Why join Signal 1 now
- You will be one of the first people on a Partner Success team we’re building from scratch, working with leaders at top-20 US health systems who are figuring out how to use AI responsibly. Small team. Big customers. A category we get to define. If that sounds more exciting than scary, let’s talk!
- What we offer
Competitive compensation and stock options
- Peers from diverse cultural backgrounds and academic areas
- Entrepreneurial, open-minded and energetic culture
- Excellent health and extended health coverage
- Four weeks of paid vacation
