Supabase is the Postgres development platform, built by developers for developers. We provide a complete backend solution including Database, Auth, Storage, Edge Functions, Realtime, and Vector Search. All services are deeply integrated and designed for growth.
We’re seeking a Partner Solutions Architect (PSA) to help drive the adoption and integration of Supabase across our diverse partner ecosystem: from emerging technology partners building initial integrations to established platforms implementing complex, scaled solutions.
At Supabase, PSA’s are responsible for the entire partner integration journey, working closely with our partners to:
Uncover and understand technical integration requirements and business objectives.
Align partner requirements and integration points with Supabase platform capabilities.
Design and architect solutions, primarily leveraging Supabase’s Management APIs, but also other custom integrations.
Provide ongoing technical guidance to resolve integration challenges, optimize performance, and unlock new partnership opportunities.
Lead proof-of-concept implementations and integration pilots with partners.
Continuously work with Product and Engineering to prioritize partner-first product improvements.
Successful PSAs always put partners first, working closely with them to become trusted technical advisors who understand their integration needs, work as an extension of their engineering teams toward mutual success, and advocate on behalf of partners within Supabase.
You’ll be joining our team to support Supabase’s strategic partner ecosystem, where you will be expected to lead and innovate around the following areas of responsibility:
Pre-Partnership Technical DiscoveryLead technical discovery sessions to uncover integration requirements, assess technical capabilities, and define success criteria for partnership implementations.
Design, build, and present Management API demonstrations and integration prototypes to high-value prospective partners.
Leverage quality storytelling to present the value of Supabase’s partner ecosystem and the technical capabilities of our platform.
Work directly with Business Development team members to assess partnership opportunities, provide technical feasibility estimates, and identify integration complexity levels.
Collaborate directly with partner engineering teams to determine the technical scope of integrations, ensuring partners can successfully leverage Supabase’s Management API while minimizing implementation risk.
Set integration timelines, technical milestones, and success criteria that ensure partners are confident in their implementation approach.
Actively guide new partners through an integration journey, utilizing technical documentation, integration guides, sample code, and technical webinars to promote rapid deployment and successful go-to-market.
Understand immediate integration goals (i.e. initial API integration and testing) as well as long-term partnership opportunities (i.e. advanced features, scaling, and new use cases) to build meaningful technical roadmaps for strategic partners.
Deliver frontline technical support for partner integration issues, including Management API troubleshooting, authentication challenges, performance optimization, and architectural guidance.
Define requirements for custom integrations and work closely with Engineering teams to scope and prioritize partner-specific platform enhancements.
Serve as an internal champion for partners and their technical needs. Work closely with Support, Product, and Engineering to provide integration feedback, identify API improvements, while communicating platform roadmaps to partners.
Invest in partner relationships to build trust-based technical partnerships. PSAs work with partners who integrate Supabase into their own platforms and customer offerings, making technical reliability and partnership success paramount.
6+ years of relevant work experience in Solutions Architecture, API Integration, Partner Engineering, or similar technical partnership roles.
Experience with integration platforms, API management tools, and partner ecosystem development.
Background in web application development, with familiarity with popular JavaScript frameworks (NextJS, React, Vue, Svelte) as well as Node.js.
Very strong communication skills, particularly for translating technical integration requirements between partner teams and internal engineering. PSAs spend significant time bridging technical concepts across different organizations and technical stacks.
Well-organized and effective technical storyteller with strong interpersonal skills. PSAs often navigate multiple stakeholders across partner organizations with varying technical backgrounds and conflicting priorities.
Previous experience leading partner-facing technical engagements that delivered meaningful integration and business value.
