The Opportunity

At UserTesting, we help organizations make customer-first decisions by bringing the voice of the customer into every stage of product and business strategy. As we continue to grow our global partner ecosystem, we're looking for a Partner Sales Director to drive revenue through high-impact strategic partnerships.

Reporting to the VP, Global Partnerships & Ecosystems, you'll develop and grow a focused portfolio of strategic partners that create measurable business outcomes. Success in this role is defined by the strength of the partnerships you build and their contribution to pipeline, revenue, and long-term customer value.

Working remotely (ideally within the Eastern Time Zone), you'll partner closely with Sales leadership and cross-functional teams to align strategic partners with enterprise priorities, key accounts, and industry initiatives. You'll identify, develop, and expand relationships across ISVs, agencies, and consulting firms, creating joint go-to-market strategies that accelerate growth for both UserTesting and our partners.

If you're a strategic relationship builder with a commercial mindset who enjoys influencing senior stakeholders, creating new opportunities, and delivering measurable business impact, we'd love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, prioritize, and establish strategic partnerships with ISVs, agencies, and consulting firms that align with UserTesting's growth strategy.

  • Develop joint business plans and go-to-market initiatives that generate qualified pipeline and drive revenue growth.

  • Partner closely with Field Sales and Sales leadership to execute co-sell strategies and accelerate enterprise opportunities.

  • Build trusted relationships with executive stakeholders, leading commercial negotiations and partnership agreements.

  • Define partner success metrics, activation plans, and performance reviews to maximize long-term business impact.

  • Collaborate across Sales, Marketing, Product, Customer Success, and Enablement to embed partners into our go-to-market strategy.

  • Continuously assess the partner ecosystem to identify new opportunities that strengthen UserTesting's market position and support future growth.

What We're Looking For

  • 7–10+ years of experience in Partnerships, Alliances, Business Development, or Partner Sales within a SaaS environment.

  • Proven success building and scaling strategic partnerships that deliver measurable pipeline and revenue growth.

  • Experience working with ISVs, agencies, consulting partners, or other strategic technology partners.

  • Demonstrated ability to align partnership strategies with complex enterprise sales cycles and co-sell motions.

  • Strong commercial acumen with a strategic, results-oriented approach and a bias for execution.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and executive stakeholder management skills.

  • Ability to travel up to 40% as required.

  • Ideally based in Eastern Time Zone

Don’t meet every single requirement but excited about the role? We encourage you to apply. Research shows that some candidates are less likely to apply unless they meet 100% of the qualifications—but you may be exactly who we’re looking for. Diverse perspectives drive innovation, and we’re committed to building a team with a wide range of backgrounds, experiences, and skills.

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
