The Community Support org handles tens of millions of interactions yearly, engaging with one in five Airbnb customers by phone, messaging, chat, or social media channels. The group handles hundreds of issues across categories including Cancellations, Account Issues, Refunds, Payments, Reservations, Extenuating Circumstances, Booking & Listing issues, Safety & Claims. The organization is globally distributed with offices in San Francisco, Dublin, Montreal, Seattle, Singapore, Manila, Gurgaon and an extensive partner network serving all regions.
The Difference You Will Make:
We are seeking a strategic leader to help drive our network strategy, and lead key implementations within Airbnb’s outsourced support network. The Partner Relationship Manager (PRM) will focus on optimizing Airbnb’s global vendor footprint, ensuring global relationships are built for long-term success, and facilitating new site and service launches.
This role requires strong project management skills, the ability to navigate ambiguity, and effective cross-functional collaboration to align vendor operations with Airbnb’s evolving business needs.
A Typical Day:
- Own and manage relationships with key vendor partners, ensuring strong collaboration and alignment with Airbnb’s priorities
- Lead high-level vendor relationships, engaging with senior leadership at our partner organizations
- Execute a long-term vendor network strategy, ensuring the right mix of partners and locations to meet Airbnb’s evolving needs
- Oversee contract negotiations, renewals, and governance, including pricing structures, service agreements, and performance incentives
- Lead new vendor site launches, ensuring smooth onboarding, training, and integration into Airbnb’s operations
- Act as the primary point of contact for legal, procurement, and financial discussions related to vendor management
- Provide regular reporting and insights to leadership, offering recommendations on vendor performance and network optimization
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to support new services and major initiatives
Your Expertise:
- 8+ years of experience in vendor management, network strategy, or outsourcing operations
- Strong background in contract negotiations, procurement, and commercial agreements
- Experience leading vendor selection, site launches, and service expansions
- A strategic thinker who can balance cost, quality, and operational flexibility
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience influencing at senior levels
- Proven analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into insights and strategic actions
- Project management certification preferred
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
- Willingness to travel globally (~20%) to support vendor relationships and implementations

This position is US - Remote Eligible. The role may include occasional work at an Airbnb office or attendance at offsites, as agreed to with your manager. Our job titles may span more than one career level. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits.
