While candidates in the listed location(s) are encouraged for this role, candidates in other locations will be considered.

Databricks is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to create, execute, and manage a migrations-focused program designed to collaborate with Systems Integrators (SIs), Independent Software Vendors (ISVs), and cloud partners to build migration solutions addressing competitive source systems and data warehouse migrations. This role plays a pivotal part in accelerating customer adoption of Databricks through targeted migration initiatives.  It will sit within the Partner Programs & Solutions team, a group responsible for driving innovative collaboration through programs such as the Brickbuilder Solutions Program, C&SI Partner Program, and the broader Scale C&SI Ecosystem effort.

The ideal candidate will have strong program and project management experience. They will excel in being data-driven, possess a proven ability to set, monitor, and execute against OKRs, and thrive in cross-functional collaboration spaces. This position is pivotal in driving joint GTM motions, accelerating logo acquisition, and enhancing consumption growth through the Databricks partner ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Migrations Program Leadership: Design, implement, and optimize migration-focused GTM programs, enabling SIs to create scalable migration solutions tailored to support customers transitioning from competitive source systems and data warehouses. Ensure alignment of migration programs with Databricks’ business priorities, BU-level objectives, and field strategies (e.g., account planning, workload transitions, and adoption acceleration).
  • Co-Sell Initiative Execution: Lead and refine global co-sell motions that integrate migration solutions into partner GTM strategies.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate across departments including sales, product management, engineering, enablement, and marketing, ensuring partner and internal alignment on migration strategies.
  • Metrics-Driven Execution: Define and measure OKRs and metrics specifically around migration solution adoption (e.g., workload migrations, incremental revenue, consumption growth). Establish benchmarks for migration solution performance and track success.
  • Technical Enablement for Migration Solutions: Oversee the development and dissemination of technical enablement materials such as account planning guides and migration toolkits, ensuring SIs and ecosystem partners are equipped for successful implementation.
  • Stakeholder Management: Act as a primary liaison between internal teams and external partners for migration solutions, ensuring smooth alignment and managing escalations.
  • Governance and Planning: Implement governance and reporting frameworks to track the success of migration initiatives.
What We Look For:
  • 10+ years of experience in migration program management or ecosystem partnerships with expertise in competitive migrations and data warehouse transitions.
  • Proven experience in driving migration solutions in collaboration with ISVs, SIs, and cloud partners.
  • Strong proficiency in data and analytics technologies and AI/ML workloads, with an understanding of how migrations impact partner and customer ecosystems.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate across diverse functional teams while leading projects and initiatives end to end, always focused on data driven impact.
  • Capability to define OKRs and develop strategies aligned within migration-focused GTM efforts.
  • Data-driven decision-making with a focus on customer benchmark achievements.
  • Comfort navigating strategic initiatives while addressing tactical challenges.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% for stakeholder coordination.

  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
