Your Mission:

We are seeking a highly motivated Partner Development Manager to drive the growth and success of our strategic B2B payments partnerships. This is a commission-based role designed for an business development professional who thrives on building relationships, executing go-to-market strategies, and generating revenue.

The Partner Development Manager will own the lifecycle of assigned partnerships—from launch through revenue realization—ensuring successful product adoption, partner enablement, and ongoing business growth. This individual will serve as the primary liaison between partners and internal teams including Marketing, Product, Operations, Support and Partner Success.

Success in this role is measured by partner-generated revenue, payment volume growth, product adoption, pipeline development, and overall partner health.

Key Responsibilities

Partner Performance & Revenue Growth

· Own the commercial success of assigned strategic partners.

· Monitor and report on key partnership KPIs, including: Payment volume, Revenue, Merchant adoption, Sales pipeline, Activation rates

· Develop account growth plans to maximize partner performance.

· Identify and execute upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing partner accounts.

· Drive revenue realization through proactive engagement and business planning.

Go-to-Market Strategy

· Develop and execute joint go-to-market strategies with partners.

· Collaborate with partner stakeholders to create demand generation initiatives.

· Coordinate with Marketing to develop partner enablement assets, including: Email campaigns, Web-to-Lead forms, Social media advertising, Landing pages, Sales collateral, Press releases

· Design and optimize the merchant onboarding experience to improve conversion and activation.

Partner Enablement & Training

· Create and maintain partner training materials and documentation.

· Develop enablement resources such as: Partnership overview presentations, Target market and geographic guidance, Commercial and compensation models, One-page solution overviews

· Deliver training sessions for: Internal SDR and Inside Sales teams, Partner sales organizations, Customer Success and Support teams

· Develop and administer reseller certification programs where appropriate.

Feedback & Continuous Improvement

· Serve as the voice of the partner internally.

· Collect partner feedback and communicate insights to Product, Operations, Marketing, and Leadership.

· Identify process improvements that enhance partner experience and merchant success.

· Advocate for enhancements that improve scalability, efficiency, and revenue growth.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

· Coordinate internal resources to ensure successful partner launches and ongoing support.

· Work closely with Product, Marketing, Support, and Operations to resolve issues and capitalize on growth opportunities.

· Maintain regular business reviews with partner stakeholders to evaluate performance and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

Required

· 5+ years of experience in partner management, business development, channel sales, fintech, SaaS, or payments.

· Demonstrated ability to grow strategic partnerships and generate revenue.

· Strong presentation, communication, and relationship management skills.

· Experience developing go-to-market strategies and sales enablement programs.

· Ability to manage multiple partner initiatives simultaneously.

· Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset and strong execution skills.

Preferred

· Experience in payment processing, merchant acquiring, embedded payments, PayFac, integrated enviroments or fintech.

· Experience working with ISVs, VARs, referral partners, or reseller ecosystems.

· Knowledge of payment economics, interchange, merchant onboarding, and payment technology
