The Part-Time Student Program is primarily designed to augment the Company's regular full-time staff and is for students who work in parallel to their school schedule YEAR-ROUND.
Your Responsibilities
As a Part-Time Student - Advanced Engineering for John Deere - ISG located in Fargo, ND, you will....
  • Work closely with supervisor or other engineering personnel to support team initiatives through research & development and product design & test.
  • Perform other engineering tasks as directed under the guidance of an engineering supervisor or mentor.
  • Capture test data and deliver organized documentation for each task for review by the team.
  • Both on the job and classroom training will be provided.

This position is not available to students on immigration visas.
What Skills You Need
  • Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above
  • Available to work 35-40 hours/week during the Summer semester
  • Available to work 10+ hours/week during the academic year
  • Must be able to commute to the work location(s) in Fargo, North Dakota, on a daily basis year-round
  • Ideally, you will be pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering; other relevant degrees may apply
    • Must be registered as a full-time student or graduate student at a local accredited university
    • Graduation date of May 2026 or later is preferred
    • Senior pursuing advanced degrees welcome to apply
