The Part-Time Student Program is primarily designed to augment the Company's regular full-time staff and is for students who work in parallel to their school schedule YEAR-ROUND.
Your Responsibilities
As a Part Time Student - Machine Evaluation for JD World Wide Construction & Forestry located in Dubuque, IA, but working remotely, you will:• Conduct data processing and analysis of completed test activities.• Create work instructions and other documentation of test processes and equipment usage.• Create and update test design files as needed.
This position is not available to students on immigration visas
What Skills You Need• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.• Understanding of construction equipment forms in grade control applications.• Self-initiative and energy working in team environment.• Previous experience operating survey equipment including laser scanners, base stations, total stations, etc.• Full time enrolled into a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering
What Makes You Standout• Knowledge of construction equipment customers and their applications.• Equipment operating experience, especially construction.• Aptitude and competence in diagnosing and troubleshooting machine systems.• Customer experience working with equipment.• Experience working with grade control and or automated control systems.• Bilingual in English and Spanish
