Join Allstate’s Litigation Services team as a Paralegal Specialist, where your contributions will be essential to delivering strong legal outcomes and exceptional service in support of Allstate’s casualty litigation operations.This role offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced attorneys on high‑impact casualty and general liability matters. You'll take ownership of the litigation life cycle - from answering complaints and managing discovery, to preparing for arbitration and trial. With access to hands‑on training and mentorship from a collaborative team of paralegals and attorneys, you’ll build deep expertise and grow your career in a supportive, fast‑paced legal environment.Key Responsibilities
Assist with the identification and summarizing of relevant issues; continually monitor issues and update attorney, as appropriate
Communication with Claim Business Partners and Plaintiff Attorneys on case status
Review new and proposed legislation and determine applicability
Review new file assignments, draft initial pleadings (e.g. answer, motion, etc.), and draft discovery
Prepare brief to assist client in presenting case in small claims court
Draft responses to discovery demands
Assist clients in answering questions regarding discovery
Review and serve responses to discovery demands
Assist attorney in preparing materials for trial, arbitration or mediation
Must meet the minimum qualifications for paralegals as defined by applicable state law.
Experience as a Paralegal with a focus on casualty, general liability, bodily injury, or civil litigation preferred.
The ideal candidate must be familiar with applicable Colorado laws and regulatory requirements.
Experience managing high‑volume caseloads in a fast‑paced legal environment preferred.
Familiarity with legal procedures, including pleadings, discovery, motions, and court filings.
Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize tasks effectively.
Strong written and verbal communication skills for drafting legal documents and correspondence.
This job does not have supervisory duties.
Allstate provides a comprehensive technology setup, including a laptop, monitors, headset, keyboard, and mouse. Employees eligible to work from home also receive a monthly connectivity reimbursement to help offset internet costs.
