The Paid Social Media Strategist manages paid social media campaigns, ensuring they meet client KPIs through execution, monitoring, and optimization. The role requires collaboration across teams and providing strategic insights based on performance data.

MV Digital Group is looking for individuals to join and shape our fast-growing organization. The Paid Social Media Strategist is responsible for the execution, launch, management, and daily monitoring of paid social media campaigns to meet our advertisers' business objectives. This position manages timelines and deadlines with cross-functional teams to successfully deliver on-time and exceed customer expectations.
Compensation for this position is comprised of a base salary plus incentive compensation. The base salary range is $53,000 to $65,000 per year. Additional incentives bring total potential compensation to $58,300 to $71,500.
What you'll be doing:
- Implement digital ad campaigns across social ad platforms including Meta Business Manager, X (Twitter) Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Snapchat Ads Manager, TikTok Ads Manager and others based on the media plan provided
- Ensure campaigns meet and exceed client KPIs through campaign setup, management, and ongoing optimizations
- Provide data-driven strategic insight and recommendations to campaign teams
- Create and deliver regular reporting that demonstrates campaign performance to goal
- Work with the media planning team to develop campaign strategy and onboarding plans along with recommendations on budget shifts to drive outcomes
- Participate in select customer and partner agency phone calls
- Stay up-to-date on paid social industry trends and political & advocacy requirements
Our ideal candidate will have the following:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, or related area OR relevant work experience
- Minimum 2 years' relevant experience executing and optimizing digital paid ad campaigns
- Meta Certification as a Media Buying Professional (410-101)
- Hands-on knowledge of social media buying platforms such as Meta, X (Twitter), LinkedIn, etc.
- Basic understanding of Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager, and pixel implementation across social media platforms
- Knowledge and experience using reporting dashboards and software
- Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills
- Strong ability to stay organized and focused while managing high volumes of detail-oriented work
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to function well in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
- Strong organizational skills and flexibility to efficiently handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Critical thinking skills to interpret client needs, identify real-time solutions, and suggest and implement campaign optimizations
- Ability to assess priorities, make informed decisions, and effectively communicate and collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders
- Curiosity for the use of AI and automation tools to help streamline processes and improve output
- Ability to follow established processes and proactively communicate when adjustments are needed
