Description

At Rankings.io, we help law firms dominate search results and grow their business through elite digital marketing strategies. As a remote-first agency, we’re driven by data, strategy, and the relentless pursuit of client success. The Paid Social Manager (Meta) will be responsible for leading the strategy, execution, and performance optimization of paid social campaigns—primarily on Facebook and Instagram—for our legal industry clients. This role requires someone with deep Meta Ads expertise, strong creative instincts, and a data-driven mindset who can also contribute to broader social media initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute high-performing Meta (Facebook/Instagram) advertising campaigns tailored to client objectives (lead generation, retargeting, traffic, etc.).
  • Build and manage end-to-end paid social campaigns: setup, audience targeting, budgeting, optimization, scaling, and performance tracking.
  • Own creative briefing, provide data-driven creative recommendations, and partner with creative teams to iterate on winning concepts.
  • Design and manage multivariate testing frameworks (creative, copy, placement, and offer) to systematically improve results across the funnel.
  • Implement tracking tools (Meta Pixel, Events Manager, GTM) and monitor conversion attribution across the funnel.
  • Analyze and report on campaign performance metrics with actionable insights and clear ROI tracking.
  • Stay current on Meta platform changes, industry trends, and ad compliance, particularly in regulated industries like legal or healthcare.
  • Coordinate with the broader marketing, SEO, and creative teams to align paid strategies with organic and content initiatives.
  • Manage multiple client ad accounts with structured naming conventions, audience libraries, and scalable systems.
  • Maintain proactive communication with clients, including presenting campaign strategies, performance results, and testing roadmaps during scheduled meetings.
  • Collaborate with internal project managers and paid media teams to ensure campaign deliverables are completed on time and aligned with broader client goals.
  • Continuously explore emerging paid social platforms (TikTok, LinkedIn, Snapchat, Pinterest) and beta opportunities, providing strategic recommendations for cross-channel testing.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience running paid campaigns on Meta platforms (Facebook, Instagram) with proven success in lead generation and conversion optimization.
  • Strong understanding of audience segmentation, pixel/event tracking, and retargeting strategies.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and integrations (e.g., Zapier, HubSpot) and legal industry compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in Meta Ads Manager, Business Manager, and Google Analytics.
  • Ability to clearly communicate performance insights and growth opportunities to both internal teams and clients.
  • Experience managing multiple accounts, budgets, and deadlines in an agency environment.
  • Bonus: Organic social media management experience, Canva/Adobe Creative Suite proficiency, or basic video editing skills for ad creative.
Benefits
  • Starting from $80,000; pay commensurate with experience
  • 100% employer-paid health insurance
  • Remote-first, flexible work culture
  • Unlimited paid time off
  • SIMPLE IRA with 3% company match
  • Competitive compensation with growth potential
  • Supportive and collaborative team culture
  • Opportunity to work with high-growth clients in the legal vertical

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
