The Opportunity:
Vivid Seats is hiring a Paid Search and Growth Strategy Manager to help shape the future of our search program. This role focuses on strategy, experimentation, and measurable growth. Our team manages daily execution. This role sets direction, builds the testing roadmap, and ensures decisions are grounded in strong analysis.
You will report to the Paid Search leader and act as a strategic partner in defining priorities, evaluating performance, and identifying meaningful growth opportunities.
How your role contributes to the success of Vivid Seats:
Set Strategy
- Develop and maintain a clear growth roadmap aligned to revenue and profitability goals.
- Identify structural opportunities across bidding, segmentation, audience strategy, creative approach, and landing experience.
- Evaluate auction dynamics and competitive behavior to inform investment and market share decisions.
- Drive initiatives that improve acquisition and retention efficiency.
Lead Experimentation
- Build and scale a disciplined testing framework rooted in clear hypotheses and measurable outcomes.
- Prioritize high value experiments and define success before launch.
- Maintain a constant appetite for innovation while holding a high bar for proof.
- Ensure every major initiative is supported by structured testing.
Drive Analytical Rigor
- Use SQL and large datasets to uncover opportunity and diagnose performance shifts.
- Design tests that withstand scrutiny and apply sound statistical reasoning.
- Distinguish correlation from causation and quantify true impact.
- Translate findings into clear business recommendations.
Influence Across Teams
- Collaborate closely with Engineering, Data Science, Analytics, and Product to improve customer experience across Vivid Seats digital platforms.
- Analyze customer behavior across web and mobile experiences including attribution and conversion optimization.
- Communicate insights and recommendations through concise summaries and direct collaboration.
- Influence outcomes without direct ownership of execution.
How your role expectations will progress as a Paid Search Growth Strategy Manager in the first 30, 90, and 180 days:
30 days in
- Build a deep understanding of account structure, bidding strategies, attribution model, and key revenue drivers.
- Assess current testing roadmap and identify immediate opportunity areas.
- Establish strong working relationships across Analytics, Engineering, Product, and Data Science.
90 days in
- Launch high priority experiments with clearly defined success metrics.
- Deliver structured analysis on competitive positioning and auction dynamics.
- Refine segmentation and audience strategy based on early findings.
180 days in
- Demonstrate measurable improvements in acquisition efficiency and revenue growth.
- Institutionalize a disciplined testing framework adopted across the search program.
- Influence broader marketing and product strategy through data driven insights.

- Deep understanding of Google Ads and SEM automation including bid strategy optimization, audience layering, and advanced account architecture.
- Advanced analytical fluency with strong SQL skills and comfort working with large datasets and experimentation frameworks.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to translate data and testing results into business decisions.
- Proven ability to influence across marketing, analytics, product, and executive leadership.
- Clear and confident communicator who can articulate strategy and motivate partners.

Salary Range: $120,000-$150,000
