Paid Search Assistant

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Paid Search Specialist to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to kickstart their career in digital marketing and gain hands-on experience in managing paid search campaigns across various platforms. The successful candidate will work closely with senior team members to learn the intricacies of PPC advertising, contribute to campaign success, and develop a strong understanding of search engine marketing best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the setup, optimization, and management of paid search campaigns on platforms like Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising.
  • Conduct keyword research and analysis to identify new opportunities and optimize existing campaigns.
  • Support the creation of compelling ad copy and extensions.
  • Manage campaign pacing, accuracy and QA/QC process.
  • Monitor campaign performance, identify trends, and assist in generating insights from data.
  • Prepare performance reports for clients and internal teams.
  • Perform competitor analysis to identify strategies and opportunities.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, platform updates, and new features in paid search.
  • Collaborate with integrated media teams to ensure integrated campaign strategies.
  • Participate in client meetings and presentations as needed.

Qualifications

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable conclusions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (or Google Sheets) for data manipulation and reporting.
  • A strong desire to learn and grow within the digital marketing industry.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.

Preferred Skills (Not required, but a plus)

  • Prior internship experience in digital marketing, search marketing, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of Google Ads
  • Familiarity with marketing concepts and terminology.
  • Experience with any analytics or reporting tools.
