People Inc., the largest digital publisher in America, is seeking a Paid Media Specialist to join the Paid Media team. The Paid Media Specialist is tasked with managing reporting, insights, and budgets for cross-channel networks, including Search, Social and Native advertising platforms. The successful candidate is well-versed in day-to-day budget management, understands how to measure engagement, assess audience quality and provide insights into buying tactics to maximize performance while maintaining cost efficiencies.
This position is hybrid in-office at our NYC headquarters, with the ability to work remotely for up to 2 days per week.

The Paid Media team is a lean, highly effective team that supports People Inc.’s digital ad sales business, leveraging a variety of advertising platforms to deliver +$100M annual revenue.
About The Positions Contributions: Weight % Accountabilities, Actions and Expected Measurable Results

- Manage budgets for all campaigns across all networks in order to maintain margin thresholds
- Regularly analyze keyword data for various ad verticals while identifying new opportunities and executing on performance improvements
- Work closely with Revenue Operations to provide recommendations and optimize towards benchmark KPIs

- Provide regular updates to the Paid Media team, highlighting which optimizations have been found and execute accordingly
- Monitor accruals and budgets and communicate any revenue risk to appropriate teams
- Assist on reporting, expense forecasting, and dashboard builds to improve visibility for senior leadership

- Streamline current reporting practices and implement tools to assist with validating data across platforms and BI tools
- Find new ways to improve reporting efficiencies in order to support internal teams
- Evaluate newsletter data and assist with inventory analysis, including guiding the Paid Distribution team in comprehending and reading the data

- Propose new analyses not currently being utilized by the organization
- Take over analytical tasks from colleagues as assigned by team lead
- Support new analyses and projects as required
The Role’s Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
Experience:
2+ years of professional experience in an analytics capacity within digital advertising, media, marketing, or ad tech
1+ years executing SEM, Social, Native and Display advertising campaigns
Specific Knowledge, Skills, Certifications and Abilities:
- Proven quantitative analytical abilities
- High proficiency in Excel
- Experience with analytics & BI platforms
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with a knack for distilling complex data to draw and surface concise, actionable insights
- Motivated self-starter with a collaborative and entrepreneurial spirit
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment, with multiple demands and shifting priorities

Pay Range
Salary: New York: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00The pay range above represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position and may change in the future. Actual pay may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of People Inc's total compensation package for employees. Other compensation may include annual bonuses, and short- and long-term incentives.
