Assistantly places elite Unicorns into high-performing client environments where expectations are clear, the bar is high, and the support is real.
Our Paid Media Specialists are embedded directly with growth-stage businesses and leadership teams who need technically strong, independent operators. You’ll have ongoing coaching, clear standards, and a dedicated Success Manager behind you so you can focus on doing excellent work and growing in the role.
This is not freelance or short-term work. It’s a dedicated, full-time role designed for meaningful impact, stability, and professional growth.
About the RoleThis role supports the Founder & CEO for cat-obsessed consumers, where growth is driven by performance marketing, rapid creative iteration, and disciplined testing. Meta advertising is a core growth lever, and this role directly owns outcomes tied to subscription growth and revenue efficiency.
You’ll run paid media end-to-end—making decisions, testing aggressively, and translating performance data into clear creative and funnel direction with minimal oversight. The client delegates ownership, not tasks, and values speed, clarity, and follow-through over handholding.
Requirements
- Generate original ad creative concepts across multiple distinct angles, hooks, and formats — bringing new creative direction, not iterations of an existing idea
- Build ad creatives during rapid testing cycles, including static ads and simple motion or short-form video using tools like Canva or CapCut, with strong design judgment and quality control over AI-assisted output
- Lead structured A/B testing across hooks, messaging, formats, voiceovers, and offers, with clear hypotheses and documented learnings
- Manage Meta Ads (Facebook/Instagram) daily — budget allocation, targeting, campaign launches and pauses, and performance monitoring to maximize ROAS and drive subscription growth
- Analyze performance data to identify audience behavior patterns, creative fatigue, and funnel drop-off — and turn those insights into the next round of creative
- Identify landing page constraints impacting results and proactively build or optimize campaign-specific landing pages to improve conversion rates
- Deliver clear, proactive performance reporting — key metrics, trends, learnings, and recommendations — without being asked
- Stay immersed in cat culture, viral trends, and community conversations to inform targeting, messaging, and creative angles
- Demonstrated ability to generate diverse, original creative concepts — multiple genuinely distinct angles for the same product, not variations of a single idea
- Strong design judgment and the ability to direct, evaluate, and quality-control AI-assisted creative output
- A portfolio or work samples showing range across hooks, formats, and concepts (not just one signature look)
- 3+ years of paid media experience managing Meta Ads (Facebook/Instagram) for DTC or ecommerce brands, with proven ROAS improvement
- Demonstrated ability to lead A/B testing initiatives and translate performance data into clear creative and strategic direction
- Hands-on experience creating or optimizing landing pages to improve funnel conversion rates
- Experience with Meta Ads Manager, Meta Analytics, and Google Analytics
- Proactive operator who reports, flags, and recommends without being prompted
- Detail-oriented and independent — requires minimal handholding
- Genuine passion for cat culture and a real understanding of the cat-obsessed consumer mindset
- Strong written and verbal English; comfortable communicating performance insights via Slack and email
