Job Description
We're looking for a seasoned Program Manager to join our P&A Innovation and Transformation team. This role is pivotal in promoting strategic transformation initiatives, requiring a strong leader with a background in governance, strategic planning, and change management within the financial services industry. As the Head of PMO and Governance, you'll work closely with various teams to support our objectives, manage our communication strategy, and enhance operational efficiency through data, AI/ML, and Automation technologies. This role demands a strong communicator with excellent executive presentation skills. Our Global Finance team, including the P&A Innovation & Transformation function, plays a critical role in navigating market environments and regulatory requirements, while promoting process optimization and enhanced analytics for various functions.
As a Vice President within the P&A Innovation & Transformation team, you will serve as the Head of PMO and Governance, playing a crucial role in collaborating with Product Leads, Data Owners, Technology, and Business Sponsors to ensure the successful achievement of our objectives. Your duties will encompass consolidating and monitoring execution plans, managing our communication strategy, and advocating for the use of data, AI/ML, and Automation technologies to enhance operational efficiency, streamline processes, and aid strategic decision-making. This role will provide an opportunity to leverage your exceptional communication and executive presentation skills, fostering collaboration with colleagues across all levels of the organization.
Job responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the program portfolio of projects/streams, ensuring alignment with strategic program objectives and delivery of expected outcomes towards OKRs.
  • Establish and maintain robust governance frameworks, including regular reporting on project status, risks, and issues to senior stakeholders and executive committees. Lead and oversee consolidation of materials for Senior Management updates on the Program, ensuring outstanding quality tailored to the needs of specific audience.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization, including senior executives, to support go-to-market initiatives
  • Oversee resource allocation and capacity planning to ensure projects are adequately staffed and resourced to meet delivery timelines and quality standards.
  • Proactively identify, assess, and manage risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project delivery.
  • Drive change management efforts to ensure successful adoption of new processes, systems, and ways of working across the P&A organization, including training materials, planning, and execution
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance project management methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Support Investment Process, ensuring coordination & consistency across Change Leads in meeting program deadlines. Partner with Business Management to ensure central tracking of cost & benefits at a program level as well as general management of the function.
  • Collaborate with senior executives and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and support for product initiatives, acting as the primary point of contact for key stakeholders.
  • Communicate clearly and persuasively to various audiences, providing regular updates and gathering feedback to ensure alignment and support.
  • Navigate the evolving landscape of Product & Design and Technology functions with adaptability and flexibility, effectively solving problems in a rapidly changing environment.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in project management within the financial services industry.
  • Experience in Finance & Business Management (F&BM) activities and ability to partner.
  • Proven track record of leading large-scale transformation programs and delivering successful outcomes.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage diverse stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated collaboration, teamwork and leadership capabilities and the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve their best.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strategic mindset and attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Customer-centric mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional user experiences.
  • High level of adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong ethical standards and integrity.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:
  • MBA, CFA or relevant professional certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is preferred.
