Outbound Sales Development Representative (SDR)
Location: Boston, MA (Hybrid: 3 days in office / 2 days remote)

Position Overview:

We’re looking for a motivated and energetic Outbound Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our growing sales team at Quickbase. In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact with prospective customers, driving pipeline growth by creating qualified opportunities for our Account Executives. Through proactive outreach — calls, emails, and LinkedIn — you’ll introduce prospects to the value of Quickbase’s work management platform and how it can solve their toughest business challenges.

This is a fast-paced, high-impact role with a clear path to career growth within our sales organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation & Prospecting: Research and identify target accounts across industries, from small businesses to large enterprises. Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads through outbound calls, emails, and social media outreach.

  • Cold Outreach: Proactively engage potential customers, introducing them to the benefits of Quickbase’s platform and sparking interest in a conversation.

  • Qualification: Conduct discovery calls to understand prospects’ needs and pain points, qualifying them for a follow-up with an Account Executive.

  • Collaboration: Partner with Account Executives to ensure smooth handoffs, provide context on prospects, and align on next steps.

  • CRM Management: Use Salesforce and other sales tools to track leads, update records, and report on key performance metrics.

  • Metrics & Reporting: Achieve monthly and quarterly opportunity generation targets, and share performance insights with your manager.

  • Continuous Learning: Stay current on Quickbase’s capabilities, industry trends, and competitors to effectively engage prospects.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • 0–2 years of professional experience (sales, customer-facing, or similar).

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a consultative, persuasive approach.

  • High energy, resilient, and comfortable with outbound prospecting and cold outreach.

  • Excellent research skills and ability to learn new technologies quickly.

  • Highly organized with strong time management and multitasking abilities.

  • Self-motivated and proactive, thriving in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred:

  • Experience in SaaS, tech sales, or business development.

  • Familiarity with CRM tools (Salesforce) and sales engagement platforms (Outreach, SalesLoft, etc.).

  • Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a fast-paced environment.

Why Quickbase?

At Quickbase, you’ll be part of a collaborative, innovative team helping organizations streamline operations and solve complex problems with our no-code platform. We’re proud to offer a supportive culture, clear growth path, and the opportunity to make an impact every day.
