What You'll Do
  • Evaluate, onboard, and manage a dedicated outbound logistics provider and stand up the platform for ongoing operations
  • Establish a Central Dispatch account to begin posting outbound loads immediately if preferred provider onboarding requires extended lead time
  • Negotiate carrier contracts and establish SLAs covering white-glove delivery standards, on-time performance, and real-time customer-facing load tracking
  • Design the end-to-end outbound workflow including delivery request intake, vehicle readiness confirmation, and transport scheduling and execution
  • Establish Operations as the primary posting function for outbound loads with a structured intake process for requests from Sales and Finance
  • Build a cross-functional communication framework connecting Finance, Sales, Operations, and transport providers to eliminate handoff gaps
  • Define clear vehicle readiness handoff criteria and notification protocols between Finance and Operations
  • Partner with Sales and Finance to establish accurate, operationally grounded delivery timelines 
  • Develop and enforce transport SOPs, damage protocols, and vehicle handoff procedures
  • Own the SLA framework for driver and carrier performance including target-setting, tracking, and accountability
  • Implement real-time load tracking visible to internal stakeholders and customers
  • Define and own logistics KPIs including on-time delivery rate, damage rate, and cost per move
  • Serve as the primary logistics point of contact for Sales and Finance on all outbound delivery needs
  • Translate sales volume forecasts into logistics capacity plans as the business scales
  • Support ad hoc logistics projects and operational initiatives as the role and business evolve
Qualifications & Fit
  • 3 to 5+ years of direct experience building and managing outbound vehicle logistics or automotive transport networks
  • Demonstrated experience in third-party logistics contracting and carrier management, including negotiation and performance management
  • Background in hub-based or multi-site transport network design, preferably in a high-growth or greenfield environment
  • Experience designing cross-functional logistics workflows involving Sales, Finance, and Operations stakeholders
  • Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous environments with minimal existing structure
  • High ownership mindset with strong operational follow-through
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-growth environments
  • Passion for EVs and next-generation mobility
Technical Skills
  • Familiarity with Central Dispatch, TMS platforms, and real-time transport visibility tooling
  • Experience with outbound automotive logistics providers such as Carpool Logistics, Runbuggy, or Acertus
  • Strong Excel and Sheets skills
  • Comfort using Slack, CRM, and operations dashboards
  • Familiarity with west coast carrier markets and lane dynamics
