About you
We are seeking an Outbound Demand Generation Manager to bridge the gap between high-level strategy and daily execution. This role is designed to centralize our outbound operations, ensuring that our BD strategy isn't just planned, but aggressively executed and measured. By owning the "Outbound Tech & Content Stack," this individual will allow our AEs to focus 100% of their time on closing, rather than manual prospecting and sequence management.
- Pipeline Predictability: Establishes a rigorous weekly cadence of personalized campaigns and prospect enrichment, leveraging AI/automation tools to achieve scale.
- Operational Efficiency: Eliminates "random acts of sales" by centralizing content creation (sequences, case studies) and prospect lists.
- Data-Driven Growth: Moves beyond "gut feeling" by building dashboards that track email performance, market signals, and ROI.
- Outbound Strategy & Execution Ownership
- Campaign Ownership: Own calendar of events and activities that warrant an outbound campaign (e.g. trade shows, buying cycles, new customers, new products, etc).
- Campaign Architecture: Design and deploy multi-channel outbound sequences (Email, LinkedIn, Cold Call) at scale.
- Account-Based Marketing (ABM) Orchestration: Act as the "Quarterback" for ABM, coordinating with Design, Demand Gen, and Account Executives.
- AE Directives: Maintain a strict weekly cadence for Account Executives, providing them with pre-vetted prospect lists and the sequences/assets needed for success.
- Data Enrichment/Signal Monitoring: Use Clay to monitor prospect and company “signals” (job changes, product launches, etc), which can be translated into effective outbound campaigns.
- AI Personalization: Build and refine prompt logic to generate hyper-personalized email "icebreakers" and "pain point" variables that outperform generic templates.
- Workflow Automation: Manage the API flow between Clay, Salesforce, and Instantly to ensure seamless lead delivery.
- Analytics & Revenue Optimization
- Performance Reporting: Own reporting for MQL Velocity and monitor Sales Lead Response times to ensure clickers/repliers are contacted immediately.
- Iterative Testing: Run continuous A/B tests on outreach methods to optimize the cost-per-meeting and lead-to-opportunity ratio.
- Data integrity: ensure that appropriate fields are being updated as needed to inform strategic changes. Not be afraid to push AEs + marketing to update (“clean your room”) at the end of each week. Ensure all links, tracking pixels, and sequences are live and error-free.
- Technical Health: Monitor domain reputation, email deliverability, and API syncs between Clay, Salesforce, and Instantly.
- Driven/Analytical: Continually review and improve prompts, content A/B tests, etc. Links ROAS/ROI to specific campaigns.
- Self-Starter/Resourceful: Not afraid to ask questions; understands what ‘needs to be done’
- Communication: produces clear reports on KPIs to senior leadership
- CRM: Salesforce [preferred], Hubspot, etc.
- Dashboard Creation/Data Viz: Looker Studio - combining multiple sources
- AI/Automation Tools: Clay, Instantly, etc
- Analytics/Tracking: implement of ad platform insight tags (pixels)
- Technical: understands how to connect systems via API; develop webhooks [real-time notifications]. Not afraid to reach out to IT for additional support
