Duties: Advise companies and their boards of directors on potential acquisitions, divestitures, mergers, leveraged buyouts and debt and equity issuances, including IPOs and private placements. Develop ideas for clients' future strategic actions, creating and delivering presentations to clients' executive officers. Drive and manage transaction-oriented work streams, preparing marketing materials, and conducting in-depth due diligence. Advise on the Tech landscape specific to the FinTech and Tech Services industry including sector trends, M&A activity and regulatory framework. Present to senior management and Board of Directors clients on strategic alternatives, industry updates, capital markets activities, and corporate governance issues. Review proprietary financial models, including merger combination analysis, discounted cash flow (DCF) valuation, analysis of comparable companies and precedent transactions. Prepare and present memoranda required to gain internal approvals from investment banking committees on financing commitments and activities. This position requires up to 40% travel (domestic and international)
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field of study plus 10 years of experience in the job offered or as Origination/Client Manager, Investment Banking Analyst/Associate/VP, or related occupation.
Skills Required: This position requires 10 years of experience with: buy and sellside mergers and acquisitions and corporate defense advisory, including leveraged buyouts; and capital markets, including debt, equity and convertible securities. This position requires 2 years of experience with: bulge bracket investment banking advising companies and financial sponsors in tech services vertical, including customer experience (CX); and bulge bracket investment banking advising companies and financial sponsors in FinTech vertical. This position requires the following licenses: FINRA SIE license; FINRA Series 63 license; and FINRA Series 7 license or FINRA Series 79 license. This position requires up to 40% travel (domestic and international).
