Job Description

CSCI is seeking an experienced Oracle Training Specialist to support workforce preparation and training for Department of Defense (DoD) clients using Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) R12.2 or higher. This role is ideal for a training expert who combines in-depth functional knowledge of Oracle systems with hands-on experience in Federal shared service environments. The Oracle Training Specialist will develop and deliver training strategies that align with project goals, guide end-user adoption, and ensure long-term post-production success. The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of Federal business processes, DoD program environments such as DAI, and the ability to lead training initiatives in complex, enterprise-level implementations.

Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver training programs to prepare end users for Oracle EBS R12.2 or higher implementations and upgrades
  • Translate complex Oracle workflows into accessible learning content tailored to Federal and DoD audiences
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify training needs, develop curricula, and align learning objectives with business goals 
  • Develop training materials, user guides, and reference documentation for functional and technical audiences 
  • Conduct live and virtual training sessions, hands-on workshops, and post-implementation support activities
  • Apply knowledge of Federal and DoD business processes, project management, and shared service environments to inform training design
  • Support user readiness and change management efforts to drive system adoption and minimize disruption 
  • Continuously evaluate training effectiveness and adapt content based on learner feedback and evolving system functionality
Minimum Requirements
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of relevant experience supporting Oracle EBS training in Federal or DoD environments
  • Demonstrated experience supporting Oracle Shared Service Providers using Oracle EBS R12.2 or higher
  • Active Secret federal security clearance
  • Strong understanding of DoD and Federal business processes and enterprise systems
  • Experience with project management and business process reengineering in support of large-scale implementations
  • Creativity and adaptability in problem-solving
  • Ability to work with clients to understand their needs
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional presence
Preferred Skills
  • Experience delivering training in the DAI shared service environment
  • Ability to develop a wide range of training deliverables, including e-learning modules, instructor-led materials, and job aids
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills
  • Motivation to learn emerging technologies and continuously improve training content and delivery
  • Ability to work in a team environment, as well as independently
  • Strong customer and vendor relationship skills
  • Demonstrated ability to comply with data standards and policies
  • Past experience working with a federal agency
  • Department of Defense experience is a plus!
