Job Title: Oracle Cloud HCM Core HR Senior Consultant

Classification: Exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA)

Reports to: President

Work Location/Travel: Work is remote or on-site. Percentage of travel, where the travel occurs, such as locally or in specific countries or states, and whether the travel is overnight, varies. This resource must be willing and able to travel as required by the customer project.

Job Summary:

The Senior Oracle Cloud HCM Core HR Consultant serves as a trusted advisor and functional lead for Oracle Cloud HCM implementations, with deep expertise in Core HR (Global Human Resources) and working knowledge of Oracle Payroll. This role is responsible for driving solution design, leading client workshops, architecting complex business processes, and guiding organizations through successful Oracle Cloud transformations.

The ideal candidate possesses strong consulting experience, extensive hands-on configuration expertise, and the ability to influence stakeholders while delivering scalable Core HR solutions that align with business objectives and Payroll requirements.

Essential Functions:

• Lead Oracle Cloud HCM Core HR implementations from discovery through post-production support.
• Serve as the primary functional lead and subject matter expert for Global HR solutions.
• Design and configure complex Core HR solutions, including:
  • Enterprise Structures
  • Workforce Structures
  • Legal Employers
  • Jobs and Positions
  • Employment Lifecycle Events
  • Workforce Modeling
  • Security Profiles and Role-Based Access

• Support Oracle Payroll implementations by ensuring alignment between HR and payroll processes, data structures, payroll validation, and compliance requirements.
• Facilitate executive and stakeholder workshops to define business requirements and future-state processes.
• Provide strategic recommendations and Oracle best practices to clients.
• Lead fit-gap analyses and solution architecture discussions.
• Oversee testing strategy, UAT, deployment planning, and go-live readiness activities.
• Provide mentorship and leadership to junior consultants and project team members.
• Collaborate with technical teams on integrations, conversions, reporting, HDL, HCM Extracts, and related solutions.
• Support business development efforts, solution demonstrations, and project estimations.

Work Environment:

The work environment is remote or on-site at a client location. While remote, employees are expected to provide office space for themselves with a professional background (including virtual backgrounds) and noise level. A reliable and consistent internet connection is required.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting or standing at a desk and working on a computer.
• Bending, sitting lifting, driving.

Position Type and expected hours of work:

• Full time work during Apex IT business hours and, at times, outside of business hours, if required.

Required Education and Experience:

• 5+ years of Oracle Cloud HCM consulting experience.
• 4+ years of hands-on Oracle Cloud Core HR configuration experience.
• Experience leading multiple end-to-end Oracle Cloud HCM implementations.
• Strong expertise in Global HR and workforce management processes.
• Experience supporting Oracle Payroll implementations or payroll-related initiatives.
• Proven ability to lead client-facing workshops and manage stakeholder relationships.
• Experience with data conversion, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
• Consulting firm experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Oracle Cloud Global Human Resources Certification.
• Oracle Cloud Payroll experience or certification.
• Experience with global implementations.
• Knowledge of HDL, HCM Extracts, OTBI, BI Publisher, and Fast Formula.
• Experience mentoring consultants and leading project workstreams.
