Senior Manager, Training and Content

Our Training and Content Senior Manager is responsible for the training and professional development of our Membership Services Representatives. We expect you to make the most out of people’s talents and help them develop to their fullest potential. While also keeping a strong focus not just on what our MSR’s wants and needs, but also on the needs of our entire organization.
The successful candidate will thrive in the type of environment that is ambiguous, fast paced, and where the only thing that is consistent is change. Many of the challenges we face have no textbook solution, so the ability to invent is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee training, content specialists and training development staff
- Create and maintain a feedback loop to helps assess Membership Services Representative needs for training
- Working with different stakeholders across WHOOP to gather feedback, develop and implement overall learning strategies and programs
- Designing e-learning courses, workshops; Update training and content programs to ensure that they are relevant
- Create and manage training budget and resource allocation for new hire classes, refresher/up-skill training along with project allocation when necessary
- Teach training methods and skills to Trainers, Content Specialists, Managers and other leaders
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and assess delivery
- Help managers develop their team members through career pathing
- Ability to manage and provide reporting across the training organization
- Understanding of technology solutions and operations from a learning perspective
Qualifications:
- 5+ of experience designing and implementing employee development programs.
- Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) credential preferred
- Ability to work closely with stakeholders, gain business acumen, and understand what is needed to drive success in a timely manner
- Ability to create simulated learning in addition to other modalities
- Adept with a variety of multimedia training platforms and methods
- Ability to switch gears due to the demand of the business in order to meet new deadlines
- Ability to evaluate and research training options and alternatives
- Ability to condense content in a concise and understandable format for WHOOP
- Ability to design and implement effective training and development
