Job Summary
Summary:
Our company has an exciting opportunity for an experience Senior IT Support Specialist. You will be providing technical support to our Burlington HQ users including Executives & Senior Management who are either located on, or visiting, the US East Coast.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain C-Level Executives computers, printers, conference rooms, phones, and peripherals.
- Follow rigorous Executive Support Protocol, ensuring all services are on-line and monitored 24/7.
- Pro-actively execute maintenance plan for Executives equipment & services.
- Resolve day-to-day software & hardware issues related to end point devices & desktops/laptops.
- Coordinate set up & support video calls using integrated multimedia equipment.
- Coordinate system set up for new hires and Executives.
- Manage special projects with other support groups and departments.
- Coordinate IT tasks & provide IT Support during Quarterly Ops Review & Board Meetings.
Requirements:
- Degree in computer science or related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience with 2 years having been exposed to Executive level support - highly motivated.
- Comfortable with Microsoft Teams conferencing technology.
- Programming skills is an asset.
- Must be a self-starter with exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve complex problems and implement solutions with little or no guidance.
- High level working knowledge of multiple complex software packages, hardware platforms, and network architectures.
- Experience implementing best-practice processes and procedures.
- Knowledge of ITIL and best practices for IT processes.
- Strong knowledge of both PC & Mac platforms, Office 365, Teams, Windows 10, MacOS, iOS & Android.
- Willingness to be available on nights and weekends
- Ability to work in a fast paced, high tech environment juggling multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
- Ability to understand the business needs behind the requests and drive to results.
- Ability to write processes and technical documentation.
- Valid passport and ability to travel on occasional basis.
