TripAdvisor is looking for a dynamic candidate to join the Restaurants team. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing relationships with a variety partners spanning several verticals within the Restaurants team including reservation providers, online ordering platforms, reputation management businesses, marketing agencies, and restaurant chains. This is a new role to the Restaurants team, in which you will be a key contributor of shaping how Account Management is handled for these strategic partnerships. 

Reporting to the Head of Restaurant Commerce, primary responsibilities include proactively managing relationships, optimizing partnerships, improving on best practices, and strengthening partner integrations with the TripAdvisor platform.

This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to master technical systems and processes, and polished communication skills, both internally and externally. Key Responsibilities:

  • Build strong relationships with a variety of Restaurants partners
  • Proactively reach out to suppliers and provide recommendations to improve integrations
  • Actively manage inventory of partner integrations
  • Increase listings on TripAdvisor Restaurants platform via partner integration
  • Work with business development team to onboard new clients and smoothly manage transitions between teams
  • Monitor competitive pricing, and optimize partners to increase revenue for restaurant commerce partnerships
  • Work with accounting team to ensure accurate reporting and invoicing of partners
  • Analyze partner performance and leverage relationships to optimize revenue growth
  • Research destinations, identify new suppliers and work with sales team to increase partner coverage
  • Serve as main point of contact for current partners to help resolve issues and answer questions
  • Assist group sales team with pre and post sales activities including managing listings and feature activation
  • Proactively suggest improvements to current systems and processes to contribute independently to continuous process improvement

Key Skills & Experience:

  • 3+ years account management experience, preferably with an online company; travel or restaurant industry experience preferred
  • Strong technical understanding. Ability to quickly learn new processes and work with development teams as necessary to troubleshoot problems
  • Superb written and oral communication skills
  • Familiarity with MS Excel; Understanding of SQL a plus
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and consistently meet deadlines
  • Flexible and adaptable personality; self-motivated, enthusiastic, and able to succeed in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
