The Role

Iora Health is seeking a Manager to lead its new Employee Health & Safety program. The Manager will join a team focused on a few priorities: 1) building infrastructure (systems, policies, procedures) for Iora’s Patient and Employee Health and Safety team; 2) providing reports and conducting analyses; 3) supporting incident review and follow-up; 4) ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and Iora Health policies related to EH&S.

This position will be based in Boston, MA and will require some travel.

Specific Responsibilities

The Manager will play a key role in the growth of Iora Health. The position requires an individual excited to apply energy across a diverse set of projects and initiatives, including a combination of the following:

  • Playbook development - design, document, and maintain processes, policies, procedures and systems
  • System maintenance - monitor and improve processes, systems, and tools
  • Research - understand best practices, regulatory standards and requirements solicit input from subject matter experts and stakeholders
  • Analysis - build and monitor reports that help teams track performance and learning
  • Customer support & troubleshooting - ensure care team members have the tools and support they need
  • Project management - create project plans, coordinate meetings and track follow-up activities
  • Operations monitoring - perform on-site audits of practice facilities and operations to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Training - develop and deliver training to Iora employees

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred)
  • 4-6 years of professional experience in employee health & safety or a related field
  • Deep understanding of OSHA, occupational health, and employee health & safety
  • Experience in healthcare industry, ideally in the outpatient setting
  • Team player who is driven by our mission to restore humanity to healthcare
