As the Office Manager you will be a Jack (or Jackie) of all trades. Whether it’s the day-to-day upkeep of the office, organizing the next culture event, or facilitating new hire orientation, you’ll have your hands in many things that make our 45-person office a place where people love to work.
What You’ll Do
Each day will be a little bit different, but your core responsibilities will include:
- Managing all administrative functions for the office, including but not limited to, phone calls, deliveries, ordering and stock management of office snacks
- Assisting with new hire onboarding from prepping for their arrival to inducting them to the company culture
- Handling the real estate and facility operations, including fostering relationships with the landlord to address facility related issues or needs.
- Organizing logistics for onsite meetings, interviews, and executive travel
- Planning and executing our Boston based quarterly outings, volunteering, monthly social hours and holiday/special event parties.
- Managing office budget and reporting expenses, accounts receivable and collections
- Supporting needs of international offices, with help from local employees
Skills You Need to Succeed
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Proactive, self-motivated, and flexible with the ability to adjust focus as needed
- Demonstrated ability to problem-solve
- Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Reliable and dependable "go to" person for the office
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds
