At Datadog, Business Operations run the day-to-day operations for Datadog and help to keep our employees safe, happy and productive, which means every day is different. Business Operations work closely with leadership and employees to ensure that Datadog keeps scaling smoothly and remains a great place to work.
The Opportunity
Datadog is looking for an Officer Manager to run our Boston office. You’ll work with the Office Coordinator to help keep our employees safe, productive and happy which could be mean ensuring we’re not running out of espresso beans and pretzels, planning an ice-skating event for 150 people, or hosting a 150 guest meetup into our gorgeous Boston office - every day will be different.
You Will
- Manage, coach and empower an Office Coordinator
- Liaise with Business Operations staff in other cities on a variety of initiatives
- Arrange monthly fun & surprise events for employees
- Work with IT & People Operations staff to set up employees for success
- Cultivate and maintain positive working relationships with building management & other vendors
- Conduct daily walk-throughs to ensure the office is in great shape
- Manage office supplies, and keep the office stocked with food, snacks and pantry supplies
- Responsible for incoming and outgoing deliveries
- Support office moves and build-outs
- Warmly welcome candidates, clients and other guests who visit our office
Requirements

- Possess excellent time management and multitasking skills
- Be even-tempered and able to remain calm under pressure
- Have unending patience and thrive on getting things done
- Be organized, have an acute attention to detail, and take pride in the appearance of the office
- Able to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing
- Possess good spreadsheet skills
- Bring creativity and fresh ideas that help contribute to the culture at Datadog
- Great at adjusting message content and tone to your audience
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a fast-paced environment
- Experience managing staff
- Able to lift 50 lbs and move office furniture and supplies
