Manager, Professional Services

We are looking to add a collaborative, results-oriented, and innovative Manager for the Professional Services Team at Ellevation. In this role, you will lead the team responsible for providing a variety of training and professional development services to our partners, and collaborate with other teams within the Partner Success Organization to ensure a cohesive experience for educators across the country that use Ellevation. You will continuously look for opportunities to increase efficiencies, maintain high-quality training satisfaction, and develop ways to increase classroom teacher engagement at scale.
Responsibilities:
As the Manager of Professional Services, you will be responsible for overseeing all training services across our 900+ partners by scheduling training, monitoring CSAT and usage data, and supporting Training Solutions Managers develop their skills and competencies as facilitators. The role also includes facilitating training sessions on an as needed basis. You will collaborate with our Customer Success and Product Education teams to better understand district needs and help refine Ellevation’s training approach to ensure active engagement with the platform and instructional products.
Here is what your first year with us looks like:
Within 1 month, you will:
- Onboard and learn about Ellevation, the Professional Services Team, and the work we do to improve outcomes for EL students.
- Become familiar with our product offerings, and our customer landscape.
- Understand the Professional Services Team approach and how we work within the greater Partner Success Organization.
- Learn the tools needed to schedule training services, oversee training activities, and monitor CSAT data.
- Meet with Training Solutions Managers regularly to check in on progress in their role.
Within 3 months, you will:
- Learn and understand how we train on all of our products (Platform, Strategies, and Math).
- Learn and understand our current Professional Services offerings, including the materials, desired outcomes, and recommended audience(s).
- Be able to address questions from Success and/or Sales on our training offerings and be able to make recommendations when districts are not sure which services to purchase.
- Conduct monthly team meetings to communicate important company updates and support an ongoing professional learning environment.
- Check-in on a regular basis with Success, Product Education, and BizOps to ensure that operations are running smoothly and push forward on new initiatives.
Within 6 months, you will:
- Anticipate and identify roadblocks that may impact the team during high peaks of training requests.
- Maintain high levels of training satisfaction, while managing partner expectations.
- Provide feedback to our Product Education team on training content and offer suggestions and ideas to improve our services.
- Communicate observations and feedback from our district partners to Ellevation’s Product and Engineering Teams in order to inform future product development efforts.
About You:

This role requires understanding how to move the needle in the impact training has on our partners through continuous learning and iteration on our approach. Previous managerial experience is a plus, along with a strong understanding of educator development.

- Travel requirements: Depending on the needs of the business, this role may require travel in the future.
