We are currently looking for a Junior Information Technology Representative to work as part of our fast-growing environment and participate on our IT help desk. We're looking for someone who is motivated, smart, interested in the IT and DevOps fields and would like to learn more.
Responsibilities:
-Act as first line of support for IT problems
-Plan and successfully complete IT projects and goals
-Participate in troubleshooting, capacity planning and analysis, performance analysis activities
-Identify repetitive tasks and implement creative solutions to automate them
-Escalate, diagnose, and resolve system and vendor-related issues
-Support internal infrastructure and services
REQUIREMENTS:
-Help desk or customer service support experience
-An analytical approach and problem solving abilities
-Strong time management
-Exposure working with or around code repository systems (e.g., Git, SVN, Mercurial)
Nice to Have:
-Previous experience in a Soc II (or similar) compliance environment
-Experience with one or more programming languages such as Ruby, Python, Perl, JavaScript, Java, and C/C++ (class projects are acceptable)
-Understanding of network routing, VPNs, DNS, TLS and certificates
